A while ago I asked how to hit a moving target with a bolt driver. I diddn't get an answer that really helped me. I have finaly figured it out. I have found the sweet spot where the enemy should be when you pull the trigger. It is about when the enemy hits the very outside of the line on the crosshairs. .(assuming they are all the way closed) Of course you have to adjust a little bit based on distance. I just thought I should share me findings with the worlds snipers.

differnt pings...different speeds of targets....just two of the variables that makes it impossible to have a definitive sniper guide. Experience using the weapon is the only thing I would recommend. Although, as with any weapon, using the crosshair as the constant is a good start :P

^^^ Agrees

Everyone has there own little "sniping" style, it's just best to keep yours a secret and try and improve on it so you can get more kills.

When engaging anyone at long distances i try and pick my positions so the enemy will be running towards or away from me, a doorway a set of boulders whatever you cna flame your taget so you can plink shots into their back.

Cover is the most important thing, the funniest thing happened earlier where a TR guy was running in the opposite direction, I crouched behind a tree....*bang*, then move behind the tree.

He stops (human instinct(?)) wondering how the hell he got shot or something, then I strafe out from behind the tree to see him standing there looking back in my direction....the slightest strafe only causes the minimum of disruption to the crosshair, small strafe and *bang* - like taking candy from a baby ;)

With long range ones I also tend to try and predict their movements, holding the pointer where I think they'll run...doesn't always work but if they're moving unpredictably (which they do a lot after the first shot) then it's the only way I can think of to finish em :)
