They're trying to recruit for their Vanu Outfit. I saw the word Konreid in there so I guess that's where they play. Any Moderators want to move this to the recruitment forum?

Ok translation (been a while since Ive done this so i might get a few words wrong.

"Hi everyone, just a short message to invite you to our outfit! Its only for french speaking people form Quebec.
We use teamspeak everyday for our battles and sometimes for something else?!?

We play on Konried as Vanu. So come to our webpage, or talk to one of our members online!"

Hmm I didn't know other languages played this game. I think it would be hard for them to, not understanding half of what people are saying. But then again, they probably know english because they've signed up with PSU, not unless there's a secret PSU french website I don't know about.

Well dont forget that europe is made up of alot mre than just the english ;) Im pretty sure that there are gamers in other countrys, the thing is 99% of those people in the other countrys, would know english (sorta a must these days in the gaming world) BUT that doesnt mean that when they are on Teamspeak or in an outfit, that they cant speak thier home language. ;)

I belive Korea has the biggest % of
gamers / population
in the world, though I havent seen much Korean action in Planetside (you see alot on Bney though)

LOL

Intruder has the correct translation. And yes its french.

I'm sorry, i totally forgot about the recruiting section of the forum.

Since people are wondering, there are a lot of French, German, Russian and Japanese people playing. But most of them speak English fluently.

I speak 4 languages, including English (obviously).

Sorry for everyone who got worked up on this post, didn't mean disrespect, i just felt like posting in the 'original' language would stick out for people to notice it easier ;)

Oh, and I believe Japanese are the biggest gamers, not korean. They invented 'video games', so to speak.

4 damn! well I know 3 :)

Japanese are pretty big, but Korea tops it in gamers per population, infact... The korean goverenment I belive are trying to put forward a sceme where they will subsidise the implemintation of high speed data into all the households of korea.

I know.. no fair ;)

Thanks for translating:) . And now its obvious why he posted it in French cause it's a French-only outfit so if you don't speak French you can't join anyway.

RedOak?
I know this guy. I played with him for a good 3-4 hours the first day I got this game. I escorted him and a couple of other magriders in my Reaver. Overall they are pretty good guys and good players. The only problem I had with them is they wouldn't let me join their squad unless I could speak 7 words in french. =P

For something else? Hey, do you got any French ladies in your outfit? If so, I'd like to sign on the 'Teamspeak for something else' list please. :groovy:

Iceman, you should stay in english.
I'm french, but there are so many faults in your message (~3 per lines) that no one would take you seriously if you write in french...

As for your topic, I'd rather stay with my current outfit. They're speaking english, but it's no problem for me, and I was among the 10 players who created Easy Company...

LOL

well, i didn't make the decision, i just joined them 'cause they're buddies, and we have tones of fun - even in french. Although we are all English-able.

Seriously or not, we have a web page, and if there are 'faults' in the text, its because its partly quebecois. Doesn't really matter ;)

Btw nimbus, I am RedOak, i don't play as Iceman. And yeah it was fun! ;)

Yeah I did warn you my french was rusty.. I still dont know what he was saying in the original sentence... hence the "something else" ;)
