There's a locker in every base I think where you can put a certain amount of things for keeping. I think that you can get the same things no matter what locker you put it in all lockers you use will ahve the same things in them.

i want an apartment :( why did they have to take it away
The only way i could see it working is a hidden stock room. Whenever someone goes up to the equipement terminal they also have the equipment in thier locker available. The equipement would "magically" appear on you no matter where you "order" it from.

There seems to be indeed a locker room:

why even have a locker if everythin is free?

You can pick up specific enemy weapons
of cause you will lose it if you die so you could spare it for some special event/situation in your locker

np, I am not sure where else there are lockers. I'd assume there are locker rooms in most of the facilities

I was looking at that GameSpy pic, pretty good. But I read where they said "We lost everything due to crash" Please let them be talking about a plane crash :(

Phew thank god. So if a plane crashes then and everyone dies, they're automatically removed from the squad?

When a gen is destroyed and your base is without power, you can't use the equip terminals and thus, can't resupply.
However...if you were wise and stocked your locker up before the battle...then...
You get it now. :)
 Smokey, long time no see. We missed you!

Anyone know how big the lockers will be?
I'd guess it at around 12x9 (MAX's _deduced_ inventory size), maybe even bigger. That's a lot of ammo-n-stuff. 600 bullets (or energy as the case may be), according to a screenshot from that latest preview.
And I'm also guessing infiltration suits only have a 3x9 inventory... which makes a kind of sense:
Infiltration suit: 3x9 (guess)
Standard suit: 6x9 (known from various screenshots)
Agile exosuit: 9x9 (known again)
hrmmm... my nice little system just broke down. I guess a max has larger than 12x9, unless both agile and reinforced have 9x9 inventories.
so to continue the system a bit further
reinforced: 12x9
MAX: 15x9.
The max requires at least 12x9... That aforementioned 600-bullet ammo reserve requires it... every fifty bullets (or energy units in this particular case) requires a 3x3 box. 600 / 50 = 12. 4x3 = 12. So four boxes by three boxes is twelve by nine.
All the inventories seem to be "by 9", so it makes sense to keep adding a row every time you go up a size. Although based on descriptions, I was under the impression that MAXes had significantly larger inventories than anyone else. Prehaps not. Even so, 15x9 is pretty dang huge.

Apparently, when someone tries to hack your base, all the weapon and armour consoles stop working until you regain control. A locker would be like emergency storage.
