Alright, I really hated to do this but there was so much shiznit flying in the 9-11 thread I felt I'd better start this. Plus I wanted to respond to Hamma and not get hit with the ban stick. Anyway. If you have any problems, disagreements, bitching or flaming about 9-11 do it here in this thread.
I shall start

That was cold bro, but you can think whatever you want. It is your brain afterall, just know I feel bad for you.
I've actually heard this quite a bit. See, the Vietnam war was fought by the US for pretty much the sole purpose of bringing us out of the recession. War normally has a positive impact on the US economy and there never was a plan to win Vietnam. At the time of the bombing, we had been in a recession for a while and it didn't look like we would be coming out soon. Bush's tax cuts weren't working. As tragic as 9-11 was, it wasn't hard for some people who remembered Nam to jump to this conclusion.
A little more than a year before this event my economics teacher (also an ex army Lieutenant) predicted that we would be out of the recession within a year, and if we werent there would probably be a war. Lo and behold, he was completely accurate.
Please note, these are not my feelings on the war and 9-11, this is just what I've been told by those who DO believe it.

Hey, I know about the possibility of this stuff. If Hamma or other mods want to take this thread out, they can. I'm putting this up so we have a place where people can talk about this away from the other 9-11 thread if they feel they have to.

they killed themself or were stupid enough to get in the car. plus, these were all innocent people, they all died at once, and it brought down the pride of one of the biggest cities in the USA, sending debri for miles destroying churches etc.

The conspiracy theory is just kinda stupid.
Honestly we're in a recession, but comming out. So we'll do a couple of hundred billion dollars of dammage to turn it around and prolong the recession for another 2 years.
Brilliant.
It was a conspiracy, but not of Americans.

There are always conspiracy theorys.
Usually they are ignorant

Flammey actually said that? Wow  Jesus, where do people come up with shit like this?
And no we didn't fight in the Vietnam War to bring us out of a recession. There were many reasons but no one said "Hey! I know! The ecomony is in the crapper so lets send a bunch of kids to their deaths in a stinking jungle.".

non of us are truly innocent (in that brain food kinda way)
but seriously non of us are innocent, and thousands are senselessly murdered every day
thousands are born each day
were all going to die sometime

Conspiracy theories like this one tend to run rampant with some of the more unhinged liberals out there.
One of my roommates was very very very anti-war and set up all kinds of anti-war rallies and such.
Anyway, some of his "friends" had similar theories which they expressed with wild gesticulations and a feral look in their eyes.
No disrespect to Flammey I don't think he's a rabid hippie but some of these guys sure were.

Lol you misunder stand my meaning for the quote. No one should drink and drive, not even hamma's l33t truck.
I dont care at all the the fucktards who drive their cars into a post or something, im talking about the ones who get hit BY the drunk drivers when they are in their own car.
But, as pointed out, i forget the exact measurement but i thought it was like every 6 seconds someone is born and every 10 someone dies.
Yeah. Think about that.
Death is just the next stage to life.

Yes, I said conspiracy. I was joking. But think of it this way. What BETTER way do you know to get support for a war? Think about that for a moment before you start flaming me, and telling me I'm a cold shit.

I CAN say that. I can also say I've watched someone close to me wither away to nothing.

My grandmother has died. My father was an inch away from dieing. Neither was of natural causes.
I know i am a crappy christain, but i am one. Which is where i get my values from. So, thats where i get my values from.
But, i can also see where you are coming from. If some flaming piss hole shot and killed someone close to me. It would be sad. Very sad. But, like i said before, i believe stongly in the values of my religion, and know where i and my family are going.
Now, im staying out of this thread. Peace.
