Equip Term Fav List

I dont know if neone else noticed this, but i sure as hell did. The equip term favorite names are considerably shorter, it cut almost all the names i had in half! Was that necessary? Was that why the terms were lagging? If not...WTF?! Now ill have 2 memorize keywords...lol IM NOT THAT SMART! I just liked the system i had, and now its all screwed up...

I don't even look at the names anymore, i just know the numbers. Number one is always my up close killer, something like a shotgun or rocklet or something in case i need to get a favorite real quick to help clear a spawn camped room. :)

These are literally my fav lists:

3) awdadadaaa


......you get the picture, I dont use words anymore, just know the numbers.

I know what you mean, but still, its the point of the thing! Besides i have 2 switch mine around a lot because i switch on and off with some of my certs and dont have enuff slots ;)

Bah, I just switch my vehic certs. I leave the rest alone 9 times out of 10. AND YOU CAN'T USE YOUR WEAPON AT SANC

I've not noticed any difference.

My fav list looks like.....

Agile Energy Repairman
Reinforced Energy Repairman
Reinforced Shotgun Anti Infantry
Reinforced Lasher Anti Vehicle

And so on and so forth.

Oh, now I noticed. Mine say

Agile
reinforced

and so on, and so forth. I think SOE took away the ability to put spaces, so only the first word remained.

Well, when I made favorates lists, I made different weapon types to different armor types, to different equipment stuffs. And then I labeled them as such. Such as Reinforced Energy Repairman, or Agile Supressor. And since I always have an REK, I don't have to worry about that. But I sent an ingame /appeal saying I don't like the change to my favs list.

I appealed 2, and no it didnt take spaces away from what i gather, mine used 2 be pulsar and BANK and it turned 2 pulsar and, which including the space is 10 letters.

No no, SOE screwed it up, theyre gonna fix it next patch, they messed it up, but not on purpose, some stupid ass dev did it

People have said it was a bug and that a fix would be in the next patch but this is a good tip that ive used.

if i have Agile Armor and a Jackhammer and a REK i put Agile/Heavy/Hack

some more examples:
Reinforced/Med/Heavy/Hack for Reinforced Armor , Guass, Jackhammer, REK it was good until i noticed the bug.

The spaces arent the problem flammey, you CAN have spaces, but you have a limit of 10 letters per fav!

Yeah, I found THAT out last night. I guess I can fit Reinforced. So maybe that's the limit of letters. Dunno. I hope they fix it.

I noticed it too. It just truncated my fav. names to 10 chars. Thats f*cking annoying...

Another wonderful "under the rug" "enhancment". I think its to improve the speed of the terminals. Remember when, in a huge battle, you would press G at the terminal and nothing happens.... its cos the server is having problems downloading everyones fav.names... i suppose this makes the download speed faster, therefore reducing the lag.

There was an inadvertant data change made in this patch that caused the labels on your favorite menus to be limited to 10 characters. We apologize for this and will restore the former number of characters in the next patch. In the meantime, it is not necessary to change the name of your current favorites to fit the new parameter. The name will be restored in that patch.

Actually, I haven't changed my favorates list back. I can actually remember what each number is for what scheme.
