Get the mx460, the gpu isn't powerful enough to use more than 64MB or 8x AGP effectively anyways.

Seriously though, why are you buying an MX series card? They are all crap, get a Ti, or better yet, and FX series card if you want an nVidia. Ti4200 is basically the same price as the MX cards, but is heaps better. even with only 64MB ram it will beat the living crap out of the MX cards, as the MX gpu isn't powerful enough to take proper advantage of the larger memory (or 8x AGP for that matter). imo, radeon 9600 pro is the best value card available and the 9800 pro is the best performing card available atm. nVidia needs to get their shit together over the ps2.0(directX 9) issues. Apparently the next gen drivers will fix it. I hope so cause I don't want my FX5600 to be redundant just yet.

If your motherboard (system board) can support an 8X width video card, your best best for the dollar is the ATI Radeon 9800 (not pro). Keep in mind that RAM is tied for #1 greatest performace factor with video card.

You know most of those cards will run it just fine, but in my opinon I believe ATI to be ontop of the game right now. If you want a good card and save a bit of money go with the 9700, it is priced relatively ok right now because of the 9800 and it will still be good for at least a year or two. I run a 9700 and have about 120 FPS inside buildings and about 60-80 FPS outside depending on how many people are around.

I had a geforce card before this one and I wasn't impressed with its performance, yes they might have better support on drivers but the ATI series has a solid history of better performance.

ATI are just behind in performance stakes but for price on a ninja card the 9800 is the best with the 5900 just ahead with the patched version of 3D mark no help from optimiztion for budgit though the 5600 is ahead in price performance sector my 256mb 5600 cost me 138 (im in uk) and is faster than my mates more expensive 9600 256 he also has a p4 3 gig and i have an athlon 2600  I love overclocking and messing in bios also try AGP fastwrites if your screen goes screwy then turn back off but it can double the speed of your graphics card easy
