My last processor burned out on me, and I'm haveing a new one shipped soon. I'll be running an AMD 2600+, and I need to know what heatsink and fan system is the best value and will keep my processor cool enough.

ThermalTake Volcano(i think), or there peiter cooler (120$). Be sure to getn an all copper one. But you realy sholdn't have problems unless you overclock the shit out of it even with the stock cooler

Linky Linky! (http://www.newegg.com/app/Viewproduct.asp?DEPA=1&submit=property&catalog=62&mfrcode=0&propertycodevalue=0,%203185,%200,%200,%200,%200,%2 00&keywords=&minprice=&maxprice=&description=%20&srchFor=Speeze%20CPU%20Fan%20Model%205R281B1H3G%20 for%20AMD)
I bought that one, very nice and looks cool to. My case is automotive themed and that was the only CPU cooler that looked kinda like it belongs under the hood of a car.

The best air HS's are coper base with aluminium heat spreaders. I use the AX-7 and MCX462+. The AX-7 clips on and the MCX462+ screws down so you have to have holes around the cpu.
The big all copper behemoths are good also. Volcano's generally suck. Use the chart at www.overclockers.com under HSF's for a breakdown of most of them.

Its called the Speeze CPU Fan Model 5F263B1M3 for AMD/Intel Socket A/370
The vid card is working out great. I have pumped all my games up to high graphics and the darn thing just keeps giving.
