Nothing sucks more than being 1 base cap away from locking a continent and then having the zerg come. All of a sudden there was a massive force at one base, then a massive and a huge force at 2 bases, then 2 massive and a huge force at 3.

Maybe it's the TR tendancy to leave a cont before it's locked  .

Can't the devs adjust damage from all weapons of an empire in the same way they adjust exp and hp? At least then the JH zerg will take a little longer killing people...

Does anyone have a good strategy on countering the zerg?

BTW, if anyone has seen a guy name VSLawnCare, that is a kick ass name :)

The only way I know of countering it is another Zerg.
The BEST battles are with two Zerg forces before one gives up or is pushed out. Yesterday afternoon I was in a battle. We, the VS were trying to gain a foothold and TR AND NC were fighting over the base with us. It was crazy stuff, man. We were pushed out of the continent eventually but it was a sweet battle.

Pain Modules and Radiators should be good crowd-control (read: zerg-splatterin').

I understand the modules will make it very hard to zerg a specific base. But, that's one base.... not the whole continent. They need continent wide base enhancements like the FLB to go in.

why are you bithin about the TR zerg, half the time im pulled from attacking a base to defend from the VS

Lots and lots of mines is the most effective way to slow a zerg. A few anchored pounders in stratigic places also seems effective.

I think they need to put these "pain-fields" in perminatly, definatly in the spawn room, and may be in the CC (only if the base is powered?).

That would make battles a little better, meaning you dont get TK the moment you spawn.

And better auto-defenses for a base are needed, mainly indoors, as once the zerg breaches the outer walls then thats it, game over... there inside and in the spawn room before you can say "happy campers!".

And i thought they were going to lock the back door ?

No Comment. I don't follow the Zerg, per say.... Sometimes I just happen to be there, sometimes my SL suggests to go there...but often times I am simply elsewhere doing damage, or maybe driving my Deliverer around running people over.
