Where is a good place to learn the ins and outs of capping a base. I've been playing about a week or so (BR6) but there seems to be a lot to it.

The offline training will walk you through the basis of it all, the rest is learned through expeirence.

You know, the folks at PSU really ought to make a FAQ or walkthrough kinda thing /ponders.

well the offline training dosent reallt tell u anything except HOW 2 cap a base*hack the cc and w8:rolleyes: * the only way 2 learn the ins and outs of base capping is expierence.learn from your and other mistakes and follow the zerg. they will SOMETIMES *hint hint wink wink* have good stratgey.

mostly i just say stick around other ppl who know what their doing (a few ppl are just morons and will tell you the wrong thing to mess with your mind) and observe how to hack a base, or in some cases cary the LLU
My own help:
Bases with little flags by the names need to have a LLU carried to the base it tells you to go to. this is like CTF.

If it has a small clock by the base's name than you just hack the controll console, and defend the base.

Depending on the base the "control console" might be upstairs or downstairs. here are some maps: Maps here! (http://www.planetside-universe.com/media/?cat_id=82)

a "zerg" can be 2 things. it can be what vashthestamped said and a group of massive enimes about the size of a well know out fit like mine*600 members*.
or it can be a large group of friendlys.
