Anybody drive a Wraith?

I'm trying my hand at infil/adv hack and thought it would be just the thing.

Never driven one myself, but you're right ... it IS just the thing. Any vehicle that can cloak is obviously designed with the infil suited hacker in mind. Hope you like it :)

its useless, two sniper rounds kills a wraith, one if its damaged.

and its so flimsy, if you land the wrong way, boom, ur toast =)

so if u wanna hack go for the mosquito. 30% or under on a cruise and ur cloaked from radar also gives u more room to manuvere.

Wraith is perfect if you are hitting a cont before your squad, grabbing towers as quickly as possible to give multiple spawn points. Wraith is also perfect when you're bored and you've chased the other empires off a cont and you want to see exactly how much air you need to catch to blow the damn thing up. The answer is not too much air.
Mosquito is definitely a better way to go for an infil. You don't have to worry about mines, plus you are able to hover over a tower and scan it before you go in and can see what you're up against.

Yeah, the mosq is better, but one advantage to the whole wraith thing is u get the basi, which has some uses...plus ull never have 2 wait to get another veh...unless u REALLY suck

Mossy is vastly superior for infiltration. The only way they could make the Wraith usefull is if it truly was totally invisible while driving. Then and only then would it be worthy of use

Wraith is perfect for those flying drive bys of Reavers and Mosquitos. Just don't be expecting to survive the flight. *wink*

Definitely better off spending the extra point and going with a Mosquito. I only kept my infiltration suit for a couple weeks, but found my survivability went up big time when I hotdropped onto the roof of bases, rather than having to drive in through the courtyard, park, and make a dash for the door. The wraith just isn't invisible enough, plus it makes noise.

As previously pointed out, Mossys are immune to deployables and Phalanx turrets, also, you can travel a great deal faster in a mossy than in a Wraith and finally, you can scan the perimeter for enemies, before you land to do your thang, not to mention kill almost anything caught out in the open

I love it, especially on those mountain-filled continents.

I play this game for fun, not for kills (my excuse ofr having a low kill cound :) ), and driving a wraith is loads of fun.
