With Engineers, who can deploy turrets etc with the REK, is there a maximum number of them as in T2 for that SOI/Facility?
Also what are boomers, they've been mentioned several times particularly during Dev Chats, but nothing is ever said that I've seen as to what they are & there function?

Keep in mind that all hard numbers (like 8 turrets per SOI) are actually quite soft until we have more time to test during beta. We may decide for more or fewer before release.

I'm hoping it's not a "per person" limit. That's just silly.

Imagine a base defended by a squad of combat engineers. No one would ever make it through the front gate, over the wall, or anywhere else for that matter.

Now take that to 30 people. That's 240 turrets. "Turrents" as they like to call them over on the official boards.

Just Plain Nutty. Like crunchy peanut butter nutty.

Heck no... per base, not per person.

I'm sure there is a minimal distance you can set them from your base and eachother so it will spread them out a bit but then you'd just see turret or "turrents " fields all over.

Yes, and that would be uber-crappy.

I'm pretty sure they said it's 8 per soi. Thats tentative.
