Man I love that thing.

All I have to do is anchor on a staircase and spam 600 rounds of death down the hallway.......I must get at least 10 people before I loose my max....by that time I usually have another in stock, if not I always have my trusty Dual Cycler to hold me over for the whoppin 2 minutes It lasts.

Only 10? That is about one hundredth of what all other pounder users get.

Its even more fun when there's hundreds of your empiremates spawning below. I can usually get all of them before I get teh boomerz

Note the "At Least" part of it. Thats like my minimum if I'm really stoned or something and talking on the phone. I also avoid greif and I keep my pounder between 50-100 at all times. I've been 135 highest thats why I keep the kill ratio so low. I hate respawning so I'd hate to be a teamate that has to respawn due to my stupidity.

Is that for teamwork or for threat?

Wouldn't be good to TK me on the sole grounds that I like to spam death.

the first time i "seriously" used the pounder, defending the dropship center spawn room(massive forces btw), right side (route to cc was between me and the route from the entrance). we had interlink benefits, so i could see them all coming.

results
350 grief
at least 10 max kills, 30 infantry kills :D

(all my grief was from ppl goin behind me, few noobs in front, etc)

Yeah and by the end of the afternoon you are grief locked and you have to sell your Pounder cert for a week. Dont fool yourselves into thinking the Pounder doesnt have any drawbacks

I guess its safe to say that that is pure bullshit :) People trying to assert that the Pounder isnt a grief machine make me laugh my ass off

Well, it's not neccesarily a grief machine, it only weapon locks people who use it when its most needed. If you get out of it right before the fight that it was built for you'll be fine.

It's only a grief machine if used like a greif machine. It's like a controlled substance.

Then again some people just have bad Karma to the point where every n00b on the server makes sure to run across their path.

I really only fire on enemies that I see in the area (or the ones that stupidly come around the corner without a deci), instead of mindlessly spamming down the corner of a staircase. Unless the tower is being overun by lemming barney things then it's just easy pickins around the corner because you know that anybody who's down there has already gotten lashed to death so there's not much greif to worry about.
