I always mean to test this out but always forget. Can a pounder Anchor on top of a Galaxy? If not, is it viable to put a couple on top of a Gal and have it fly low and slow while the pounders pepper the area below?

there is no wat 2 get a pounder on top of a gal unless it drops from another gal ontop. and if a vechical moves forward the person cant keep up with the vechical so s/he falls off.

Well, there are several placed for a pounder to get on top of a Gal, and walking foward at the same speed as the aircraft keeps you from falling off so it would take a lot of coordination but it seems you could do it. I wonder, has anyone tried this?

it might be possible. if a pounder bailed from a galaxy and landed on another one. I'll have to try it.

no. there is no friction between the galaxy and the pounder. i guess he could walk forward at the same rate, but it'd be impossible to coordinate, since he'd have to turn, etc, at the same time. and he obviously couldn't anchor

you never know until you try. everyone make TR characters on werner and lets try it out. I already have a pounder cert so i just need 2 gal pilots. Or we could do it on the test server.

It won't work, the physics don't work that way, it would be impossible to coordinate, and if you did you would just make yourself a target. It's a stupid idea, it was a stupid idea pre-beta, and it will always be a stupid idea.

didnt a max walking on a gal cause it to blow up in early beta?

I did it with my sniper with the Bolt Driver and a Striker for my loadout, on top of a Liberator. Have the screenies, too. It's a huge pain in the butt, but it can be done. Of course the Bolt Driver allows you to stay far enough away to keep most weapons locks off of you, and the Striker helps you convince other aircraft that there are other places to be.

Hmm, never thought about anchoring. I get my burtser on top of my outfit mate's reaver and we hover around a base while waiting for orders. That, and going run mode along the edge of the wall and doing super jumps...

God save the pilots, anchored bursters on top of mossies.

There's plent of places a MAX could drop from to land on a Gal, wall turrets for example.

Sigh, incompetent you are a very angry man.

Hey let us know if you try this idea out, I'm kinda curious.

Incompetent, your picture of Saris Victoria losing it scares me! :(
