Hello all,

I just got thru reading them and OH MY GOD! There's something in there for everyone. I'm very excited about these changes.

hmm, my first thoughts are that:
1) The thresher is going to be even more fun to drive than it already was
2) I am getting my Prowler cert back :)
3) Its about friken time they got the Striker under control
4) Gratz for the Phoenix buff. It was sorely needed
5) Looks like the NC MAX shield might be usefull
6) Looks like the VS Comet is really gonna tear shit up now
7) XP changes might make Defense worth doing but support roles still do not get rewards so Gal poilots, Infiltrators and the like are going to get screwed on XP badly
8) Pounder will be less of a Grief machine
9) Cheezy Reaver tactics got removed
10 ) FINALLY! an MCG CoF tweak! I hope its good. Hard to tell until I can test it
11) Another JH tweak. Hard to say on this one. At some ranges the JH was ridiculous for a shotgun so maybe its a nerf to damage at 30m or so. Will have to test this one
12) Pistol tweaks look great cant wait to start looting Beamers now
13) infils got some luvin on the jump restrictions removed
14) Lightnings are going to friken rock now

looks nice! I dont have any problems with it at all, maybe i'll try using those beamers I looted... And the changes to the MCG seem nice too also the VS are finally getting the attention I feel they deserve.

I have to add that these changes all look really good to me and look like they will remove a lot of CHEEZE from the game. I cant wait to get home and try it

its clear you put a lot of thought in to every thing and this also proves you really care on balance issues and user feed back

Question for ya Spork, what about the ammo boxes for the Striker? Is it still one reload per box? If it is, I'll still be able to kill things nicely. Otherwise, the TR just aren't carrying enough raw heat to properly kill things.

You need to go back and read it. They're going to give the ANT and Lightning twice as much armor. Plus the 12mm is getting an up in damage.

Wonder why they changed the mortars damage radius? damage fine, but radius is kinda shitty.

Stacking plasma damage w00t!!! Now the comet can actually kill stuff! Oh god this has to be the best patch they've thought of!

Spork, I only have one complaint about the patch:
refering to the thresher, it being bumped up to 100 for a clip, its going to run out of ammo hella fast. It already is only good for like 5 minutes before it runs out, and with this new patch its going to be even worse.
Have you considered making the trunk bigger, or increassing the rounds per box? Thanks

Well, technically, it is now holding 75 more rounds of ammo in the long run, but i understand what you're saying. It probably would need more ammo per box, since it would take the most shots to kill (i also think they need to increase quasar's ammo box to 100).

I like all changes except reaver change cuzz im big reaver pilot. If you make clip size smaller then can you atleast make the realod a bit faster cuzz it takes quit a bit. ;)

the striker really aint that bad... have you actually seen the changes live? So what you have to wait to get a lock on, well uh shouldn't it be that way... So what your rockets do a little less damage, so instead you put out 5 instead of three... I'm not seeing much bad about it... they are making it fit the TR way, quantity over quality. Our weapons should have been based on high rate of fire with lots of ammo and low damage from the beginning.
I think this truly may be the last straw for me.....I may be done with PS.
I'm tired of the re-balancing of the weapons and this passes for the developers actually doing something to earn my $13/month. To me, the weapons balancing should have been done in beta and be set. Every time weapons are rebalanced someone else whines and we go through the whole thing again. It's just silly.
Why can't Sony focus on bug fixes and new ideas instead of this??
I'm at BR20 and CR5..........nothing left to accomplish.
