I dont gota pic of it cause.....well, i cant get ingame right now and there is a bug in the training mission. So i'll try to make this easy to understand.

Well there are far to many different firefights to only have one setup; I actually have all 10 fave slots filled in and use them all from time to time. If I had to pick 4 that would carry me through most everything, these would be my favorite favorites. :p

Favorite: Colonel Jagd
Role: General purpose, outdoor fights, travelling.
Armor: Reinforced
Holsters: Rek, Thumper (Plasma's chambered), Cmd Uplink, Cycler
Backpack: 3 boxes Plasma, 2 boxes Jammer, 4 boxes Bullets and 1 Decimator

Favourite: Captain Carnage (props to Miir)
Role: Flying a reaver.
Armor: Agile
Holsters: Rek, Rocklet Rifle, Repeater
Backpack: 2 boxes Reaver Rockets, 3 boxes Rocklets, 2 Medkits.

Favorite: Panzergrenadier
Role: Heavy presence of enemy MAXes or tanks.
Armor: Reinforced
Holsters: Rek, Rocklet, Repeater, Decimator
Backpack: 2 Decimators, 5 boxes Rocklets and 1 box Bullets

Favorite: Meatgrinder
Role: Those bogged down indoor fights where you can't get anywhere and keep getting grief because your teammates are clusterfucked in the stairwells.
Armor: Reinforced
Holsters: Rek, Sweeper Shotgun, Repeater, Decimator
Backpack: 4 boxes Shells, 1 box Bullets, 1 Decimator, 3 Medkits and 3 Plasma nades

You've probably noticed that I always have a repeater, that's cause Special assault is notorious for "almost" killing enemies and running out of ammo when you're opponent's practically dead. Whip out that pistol and finish the bastard!

Oh yeah, and about the Plasma's chambered thing I don't know if anyone else had stumbled onto this (I don't recall reading about it in the manual) but if you want your thumper or punisher to have plasmas/jammers/whatever in it off the get-go, just exit the inventory screen, pull out the thumper, hit X to switch to the ammo type you want, then go back and replace the frag nades in your backpack with more plasma. Walla!

I also discovered that if you preload your trunk with infantry gear before going to a re-arm terminal you can save the trunk config with the extra goodies not normally available at vehicle terminals. Just in case you ever have time to retrieve them. I don't know if these are exploits or undocumented features, but they sure are handy!

I curently use 8 of the 10 Favorates slots since my removal of CE(still have basic infil) and Infil suit. My standard nomenclature is a shortened version of the main weapon's name or why I developed the favorate. Here are a few of the ones I find myself useing most lately:

Thump
Use: Those situations when you're dealing with large groups of enemies.
Armour: Agile
Holsters: BANK, Medical Applicator, Thumper,plasma's chambered(you're not the only one who stumbled on that one, though I did it with shotgun shells)
Inventory: REK, 1 box Jammers, 3 Boxes plasma, 4 Boxes HE

Commander
Purpose: Probably my most vercital favorate, it is the only one I regularly use with the sweeper.
Armour: Agile
Holsters: BANK, Med App, Sweeper
Inventory: REK, 2 Boxes Standard shells, 2 boxes AP shells, 1 box nanite ammo, 1 nanite dispenser, Command uplink.

Rock
Purpose: Outdoor fights when enemies are too far to effectively engage with a thumper.
Armour: Agile
Holsters: BANK, Med App, Rocklet
Inventory: REK, 8 boxes Rockets

Falcon
Purpose: It's my only current MAX. It's my tin coffin, and I love it.
Armour: Falcon
Holsters: None
Inventory: 2 medikits and however many boxes of ammo I managed to fit in.

You might note that I carry HE Grenades with me. I find them useful because they do better damage against armour, while racking up less grief from friends. This I learned from someone on these boards, though the name eludes me at the moment. Plasma's are much better against infantry than HEs are, however.
