I just bought the 1st and 2nd season of the Family Guy. That show is really friggin funny. Why did fox cancel that show? Sometimes I think Fox hates teh funnay. They canceled both the Family guy and the Andy Ricter show, both of wich where the funniest thing I had seen on TV in a long, long time.

Family Guy reruns are still on Cartoon Network at 11:00 Monday-Thursday. Couldn't tell you what season they're from though. And yes, Fox did make a rather large mistake in cancelling it.

There's a long list of good shows that Fox has cancelled. Family Guy, Titus, The Andy Richter Show the list goes on. No one really knows why although I prefer the simple explination of Fox simply having some really dumb executives /shrug
*Edit*What was that about Fox getting sued over Family Guy?

I heard they insulted all of those people, and some of them decided to sue.

Wouldn't work. It's damn hard to prove slander and satire, which Family Guy obviously was, wouldn't even come close. It'd be like trying to sue Jay Leno for making fun of people in his monologe. I could see Fox caving just so they could avoid having to pay the lawyers, but considering how good the show was and the potential for merchandising it'd be hard to see.

Even if nobody would sue Fox over Family Guy, Fox probably feared losing viewers if any of the "I can't wait for Touched By An Angel and 7th Heaven to come on because my cable is out and I can't watch movies on Lifetime while sitting my fat ass on the couch eating junk food, content in my own pure little world" didn't like it.
As if the world needs more people like that. People need to get a thicker skin these days and stop being such crybabies.

Their cycling through the last of the made episodes. It's been canceled for about a year now, but they made a bunch in advance.
Also, they showed the last new episode left on 8/10/03. They're out now.

Besides, I've been to the north, and I have been to the south, and even if Texas is more proud to be Texan then American (do to our history as a very independent nation that joined America of its own volition) they still seam quite a bit more (at least openly, flags, bumper stickers, casual conversation etc.) proud of our country. I guess I just kinda wonder why no one else is proud of their state...

The last episode aired, and made, was "The Devil's Hands Are Idle Playthings", which was the one where Fry traded his hands for the Robot Devil's so he could play the Holophone for Leela.
