cant install, component transfer error

while Im trying to install a component transfer error pops up and says
Component: Planetside
File Group: Planetside files
File: D:\data2.cab
Error: Data Error (cyclic redundancy check)

D: is my cd rom drive

I would be tempted to take those cd's back and exchange them for another set. Sounds like you got some lemons.

that I did, I got a refund, this game looks complicated from what I saw in the manual, should I buy another set?

It is complez but i love the game, aside from the occasional crashes it is the best first person shooter i have ever played. And i am a huge HL fan so that means a lot.
