In my opinion, there is way too much hl2 hype. Half life is one of the best games ever, but hype just makes a game seem too good, then when you buy it, it dissapoints. I will be getting the game, but im not reading all the hype. Im kinda tired of it.

I didnt like HL, wont buy HL2.
Its quite sad how most games coming out soon is laying down its energy on pretty graphics and good physics, im sick of thoose games.
good graphics isnt needed, I found my old red alert1 CD yesterday, installed it and couldent believe the awefull graphics, looked worser than doom1 and had 4 polygon models, but still, I had a blast.
I know I will have a better time playing ugly red alert 1 than some HL2 game, imo.

My favorite game ever is probably Civilization (not the new ones, the old ones) and I play it for long periods of time. The graphics are crap but it is so freakin fun that I don't even notice. :D

yea, game of the year on PC gamer and every other magizine and website that dishes out all this hype. personaly i didnt like HL, and id rather play Alpha Centuri, at least that way i get to lay down a couple of nukes and have a lil fun, or any other good game. Graphics dont make a game, thats for sure, if they did, Unreal 2 wouldve been the best FPS this year, and not the peice of crap it is

and if you saw the E3 hl2 video, you would know that hl2 is about alot more then graphics.
