View Full Version : Dual Pistols? (feedback)

I saw a TR in Prima's Strat. Guide for PS with dual repeaters. Just wondering how many people would like to see dual pistols i made some rules for it.

Weapons only (no REK and pistol in the other)
Assault Rifle like accuracy
haven't really thought of how much recoil

Any thoughts?

I'm not sure it'd be worth it to the devs to add this. too much programing for too little benefit. I could be wrong tho.

Meh, leave that type of thing to Action-Quake. Soldiers aren't foolish enough to trade off that much accuracy for a marginally improved stopping power.

No, but I bet any invisble stealth assassin worth his salt would be more interested in headshotting his target, instead of pumping the wall around it full of lead.

Thats where the difference lies - I'd rather paint the wall with m foes entrails then a quick, clean shot in the back of the head.

Yup they sure would. Of course what if your invisible hand-shotgun using troopers can't shoot people in the head because the world they exist in doesn't allow for it.

First off duel mag scatters would be a scarry thought...and I'm NC
Second I haven't noticed a benefit for HS and I paid alot of attention when I was sniping HS mean nothing as far as I can tell.

good ideas , maybe reduceing dmg. of dual pistols (maybe with a little bit better accuracy than an assault rifle) Even if infils got a second pistol slot i doubt they would get the dual pistol feature.

oh yea the part about the "to much Q3 and UT" i kinda sorta agree that it is a kinda wild idea but PS isnt as fast paced as those games.
