cs_ticket_changed

Log into PlanetSide. Connect to world and load in. Small window pops up that says cs_ticket_changed with 2 buttons, ok and cancel. Click on either ok or cancel and game shuts down. Any ideas?

Went to the live chat before posting this but it requires a download/install of a plug-in. I refuse to install ANYTHING of this sort. I try to keep my machines garbage-free to the best of my ability.

it goes into your temporary internet files... you can delete it later.. it's just a d/l of the java thing they use for the chat...it's not spyware of any kind

I actually gave in and spoke to a CSR. Only problem is that I keep getting disconnected. We start discussing things and the damm thing disconnects. It's very annoying.

It's good to know I'm not the only one who is getting this crap.

A temporary workaround is, ironically enough, to use /appeal to clear the window. It doesn't seem to have any detrimental effect to gameplay. I've posted (http://boards.station.sony.com/ubb/planetside/Forum6/HTML/006986.html) on the subject on the OF Tech forums, but so far little response. Perhaps a few more voices to the choir would help.

I just want to know what it IS, though. cs_ticket? :huh: I don't have a clue.

Some kind of trouble ticket system probably
