Homecoming Week/Hate Week

Next Friday, our high school football team plays its last game at our school. This is the "Homecoming Game". By unwritten law, the opposing team must lose 62-0 or something horrible like that. The entire week is "Homecoming Week". Our National Socialist-Jesuit uniforms (white buttoned shirt, navy pants, and the school tie, oh BTW they are all copies of the same garment, you can't come in with your own pants) are temporarily suspended. You can wear whatever, though themes are suggested. (and promptly broken.)

However, as in the book 1984 by George Orwell, it soon descends into a complete bashing of the other school, sort of like Hate Week. During the Pep Rally on Friday, the other school's mascot gets beat up.

Homecoming Week: Teaches your kid to be a good Commie. And remember, Big Brother is watching.

And then, the senior play. They conduct a play, which is humorous, usually portraying teachers, and the school in some sort of crisis as the enemy team sabotages something, which Our Mighty Wolverines rectify.

This would be good if not for the racism.

Our school, being based in Miami, is predominantly Hispanic, and I am no exception. However, last year, we played Crescent City High. The "villains" of the last play were four white kids in overalls acting very...how can I say this...hickish.

Erm...isn't that racism?

It had to do with oppressing thought, which obviously hasn't happened (you are an example of that). Also, big brother isn't watching, he is sing, and dancing, and filling our head with trivial information 24/7 until there is no room for any real thought. Buts that is a different tirade all together.

It had to do with oppressing thought, which obviously hasn't happened (you are an example of that). Also known as a sense of pride in seeing your friends/schoolmates competing and doing well. I don't anybody is afraid of them. I think you are reading a bit too much into this...

I hate conformity as much as if not more then the next joe, but having a large group of people rallied behind the same cause does not make them conformers or people driven out of fear. There is far greater enemys out there then football and football festivitys, like TV or something...

Ugh... that's homecoming, one team gets butchered by the home team, and everybody makes fun of them and fucks with them for a bit, then it ends. This pep rally I had to go to involved this crappy bitch horse and this crappy pimp horse who was too full of himself. Our mascot is the chargers btw, they're horses. They kept bitching about the horrible bluejays (Highland park, crap school, nobody goes there) and Trojans (The school I'd rather go to).

Really the school I have to go to is full of preps, the cheerleaders are crappy, I don't get a hard-on looking at them, any cheerleader that doesn't give some non-pedophile a hard-on shouldn't be allowed.
