Right now, I do not have the funds for a full $50 dollar game plus subscription, so bear with me. I might be buying from this source (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3052200397&category=11047) on Ebay and wish to know if it would be worth it, or should I wait longer? Currently, I am *obsessed* with the game. If I buy the game from Ebay I would wait maybe 2 or 3 months before buying the expansion.
I have been reading the Official forums since the game has been released and I have downloaded and played the 7 day free trial.
Well, I have another question, since I have downloaded the trial, doesn't it technically count as having the game? Can I just subscribe without buying? Or am I required to buy it before subscribing?
Thank you in advance for all comments. :)
P.S - The game ran perfectly except in zergs(Massive Enemy Forces, etc....).

#1 In my, and I'm sure many others since you're on a Planetside fansite, opinion yes it is most definately worth it.
#2 You would need to buy the game. I've never used the free trials so no idea whether you could continue off your free trial character or if you'd have to start over though.

I am pretty much ganruteing that you can still subscribe under your trial character and he/she would still be there if you use your same username and passsword.

Keep makeing new Yahoo! Emails, along with fileplanet acounts, so you can keep getting 7 day free trials..cant keep same char, but its nice if you cant afford the game right now :)

If you buy the game on ebay and its not NIB, then you my friend are screwed. Mean people resell there CD's after they install it as you dont need them to play. The thing is, the cd key is already used and will not work for anyone else, unless they include there username and password. If they do that, change the info from sony on pasword and email stuff. but BUYER BEWARE

I believe I only paid $40 for the game. Was $50 really the best deal you could find?

BMagex - The seller is very highly recommended plus it's an Ebay store in Toronto.
Gigabein - $50 dollars is on the Planetside website, but on Amazon I found it for $30. But if I buy it there I would have to pay for shipping as well. (I live in UAE, aka United Arab Emirates)

I got mine at EB games for $50. I got it for my friend on his birthday this past week for $40 at the same store. The lag from UAE may be a bit bad since the distance to Europe which is ur best bet server.

It's next to Saudi Arabia. Just off the Persian Gulf.
Here is a link to a map of its local.

Neon Apocalypse - Oddly enough, the connection is better to the US servers than to Europe.
