Ok a little off the topic but Halloween Night big party my friends having and he's trying to get people to bring stuff.Plenty of people are bringing beer but he's in need of some hard liquor so I was gonna have my brother-in-law run to store and get me some but im not much of an expert at liquor.So I was wondering what you guys thought would be good.I heard stuff like Lager(sp?)Bombs and Blackcherry i think but i dunno,any help is appreicated. thx

Alright, the thing with a party is that you'll want to get stuff that will appeal to a larger crowd of people. Yeah, some people love Jaegar bombs but lots hate them too.
A sure bet is plain vodka. Vodka mixes with damn near anything. Depending on the size of the party you need at least one bottle of vodka.

Now, that being said, here is my shopping list for parties, follow it if you want.

Booze
2 bottles Absolut Vodka $16 each
1 bottle Captain Morgan Spiced Rum $18
1 Bottle Jose Cuervo Gold Tequila $18
1 Bottle Southern Comfort $16
1 Bottle Triple Sec (varies)
1 bottle Watermelon pucker $14
1 bottle apple pucker $14
1 bottle mint schnapps $16

Other Stuff you need
Rocks Glasses
Shot Glasses
10 Limes
10-20 lbs of ice
orange juice
pineapple juice
lemonade
1 case of coke (24 cans)
12 pack of 7-up
12 pack of rootbeer (A&W is my recommendation)

Cuervo + Triple Sec + limes + ice = margaritas
Parrot bay + pinapple juice =...some kind of tropical fruit drink thing
vodka + any other nonalcoholic drink = yum
SoCo + coke = yum
Captain Morgan + rootbeer = yum (it has a name, I just forget)
apple pucker + SoCo = Mike's apple bombs
mint + lemonade = mint lemonade, what else?
7-up can be added to most of the fruit drinks to make them fizzy

My personal favorite hard-a's are Jaegermister and Yukon Jack. I also have a special place in my heart for Yukon Jack Permafrost.

As far as beer goes, I only drink micro's. I don't care for the mass produced beers, although I guess you could consider Red Hook and Full Sail mass produced now.

My absolute favorite brewery is the Big Sky Brewing Company (http://www.bigskybrew.com/) in Missoula, Montana. Of all their regulars (and seasonals) I love Slow Elk Oatmeal Stout and Moose Drool. The Slow Elk is one of the tastiest stouts I have ever had, the same goes for the brown ale of the Moose Drool.

A close second, which I drink when Big Sky brews aren't available, is the Deschutes Brewery (http://www.deschutesbrewery.com/). Their Black Butter Porter and Obsidian Stout are wicked awesome.
