Hrrm. Cool idea until you think about it. I'd love to try it out as a replacment for a joystick in a flight sim.

But try this. Hold your hand up, just a few inches off the table. Now do that for about as long as you play Planetside in one sitting. There's a reason anyoen who plays FPS or any game requiring a mouse for long periods of time has a callous pn the bottom right of their palm :p

Now then another point. How to you pick up your mouse and reposition it while trying to turn in a MAX?

I dunno. Would be interesting to try, but I don't know that I would spend any money on it without giving it a good test drive first.

Power Glove was the first thing that popped into my mind when I saw this.

And then I remembered how... "good"... the original PG was.

I don't have a callous on my right palm. It does hurt for a little while During the first 5 min of play.

Then you haven;t play FPS for long enough :lol:.

It's not really a huge callous (like say the heel of your foot). It's just a tougher patch of skin on the corner of your palm where your hand rests on the desk. I once spent a few months not playing any FPSs and playing joystick games primarily. Lost the callous and believe me it sucked. There are ways to not get it as well. Those spiffy mouse pads with the gel filled wrist rest for example.

3: I have a leather wristband right on the edge of my plam. With it on my wrist and palm never touches the desk, but i have had a callous on my wirst before.
