- Remove the Decimator from special assault and move it into anti vehicle as common pool.
Reasoning: The Decimator is an anti-vehicle weapon. The way that special assault is designed (at least I think so) is that they're weapons which really can't be grouped into any other category. Also, they're very versatile. The Rocklet Rifle and the Thumper both fit these traits, they can be used in just about any situation. The Rocklet Rifle could be argued that it's more of AV than AI, but it is still powerful as AI. However, the Decmiator has but one purpose: anti-vehicle. Therefore, I believe it should be changed to an Anti Vehicle weapon that is common pool. The Special Assault certification would still be worth it with the Thumper and Rocklet Rifle.
- Make it so it's possible to loot vehicle trunks after they die.
Reasoning: With the addition of dropship center base benefits, people find more stuff in trunk space than ever before. However, an enemy cannot actually access it unless they can hack the vehicle. Therefore, I believe that, after you kill a vehicle, you should be able to loot it. Right now, the big vehicle corpses serve no purpose, except for maybe as cover fire. I think that you should be able to go up to the vehicle corpse, hit g, and be able to look inside the trunk. This would also help people who have an enemy vehicle that they hacked and want more ammo for it.
- Make it possible so that you can buy vehicles from a vehicle pad with saved trunk configurations, even without a linked Dropship Center.
Reasoning: With the new trunk configurations, trunks are more filled. However, it is still seldom used because you can only use it with a linked Dropship Center. In my opinion, you should always be able to buy them, even without a dropship center. You should only need a dropship center to actually refill them, without them, you would need to refill manually.
- Make the Prowler, MagRider, and Vanguard certs 4 points.
Reasoning: There are three main classifications of vehicles. Assault Buggy, Assault Tank, and Assault Aircraft. There are others, but I'll focus on these. In each of these "classes" there is a more and less powerful version. The less powerful version does not require a tech plant, is one less cert point, and is all around weaker. This is true in all cases except for the Assault Tank. I think that you should have to spend 4 points to get the all around best vehicle for your empire.
I don't think these changes are too ridiculous.
