Hey, I just wanted to say that I just registered for this forum and I have not even bought the game yet (Most likely get it this Sat.). It sounds incredibly interesting. I have been reading the website for about 3 days now and I am trying to learn everything I can about it. I don't know which faction is best, but I think I am going to be joining the Venu. I like their weapons and I love being apart of the whole underdog thing.
I don't know which server I will be joining, but hopefully I can get some "newbie" advice from all of you friendly players.
The last online game that I constantly played with Tribes 1. I hope that this game gives me the same feel as that game did.
Well, I hope I can get some helpful responses and I hope I will have a great time playing with all of you in the future.

If you like being in a low population go to konried server
(both US east coast servers)
If you like action head to markov(so i heard)
If you like low pop go to johari(sorta)
(and those 2 are US west)
and last server is werner witch is a european server

Hope you enjoy the game as much as most of us here. I'm a die hard Vanu player myself, but don't restrict yourself to only playing the one faction. Pick a server for your main character, and use the other servers to create characters in a different faction. This way you can play all three and get a feel for all the weapons and vehicles in the game. It's a lot easier to fight something if you've had experience using it yourself and you know each weapon/vehicles strengths and weaknesses. You'll also become a better player if you know all sides.

My advice to new players "Prepare to Die!".

You will die often and in horrible ways when you first start playing. Don't let it discourage you. After a while you will begin to kill more than you die.

Try a bunch of different certs till you find the combo you like.
