Hi all,
Im having a big problem logging on to any server in Planetside, it just wont let me through the connection stage of the login inside the game (launcher is fine).
The list of servers in the game state that the pings for all ther servers are n/a, and when I try to connect it says that the computer has stopped recieving packets from the server. I have pinged a server that says n/a and it has come back fine (34ms - Im on an NTL 600k modem) I have also traced the server and it has come back at 15 links.
Everything else to do with the internet is fine, but I am running Norton Personal Firewall on minimum settings, if that makes any difference.
The problem has started since the new patch has come out, so at first I just thought it was the server being clogged up with people downloading at great speeds off it! Also NTL went down at about the same time (DNS server problem aparently) but Internet Explorer and all the other programs that use the internet function fine now that the problem has been fixed at their end!
Does anyone have any ideas as to what the problem is, and even how to fix it?
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks
