I recently joined NC, and got up to BR11 with my standard grunt config (AV, Rexo, HA, etc). When I decided I would try my hand at MAXes.

So I get the Scattercannon MAX, and try it out, and I immediately fall in love with it, before long, I'm always in it.

So I drop everything but HA, and get Falcon + Sparrow (NC MAXes), they flat out own, I have a MAX for each situation, when vehicles come, I get in Falcon, when aircraft arrives, I get in my Sparrow, and when infantry arrives, I rip through them with Scattercannon MAX.

For those of you who think MAXes are n00b units because they are heavily armored and armed, just try one, everyone and their mother has a Decimator, and it actually takes skill to use them.

They're alot of fun, just give one a go.

I know Spee (from Immortalis Vita, outfit mate) will back me up on this, because he is also a MAX Specialist.

When I can't get to a tower to get a MAX, I can just load up in Agile Exo with my JH and rip through them just like with my Scattercannon, give it a go.

I see that u have over 1000 kills at br12, thats pretty amazing. Im a vanu br14 and i only have over 700 kills. I do use a quasar max. But as u say it does take some skill to use. The most i get with one respawn is about 5 kills. And if theyre in a group ill most likely die. MAX is fun but it does take lots of skill. And i find it more fun in agile with my lasher. I can take down lots of maxes with a lasher. Plus i have a very bad comp, 64mb intel card, which is integrated, and 512 sd ram. So my comp is teh suck making the game laggy. And when it lags it makes it harder top kill people cuz they fly all over the place. It frustrates me to use a horrible comp because i always get pwned by the lag. I have a hard time killing lots of people. So its not my fault. Looking at my stats u can say i suck. But ive had this character since june. i dont play super often, but im not an exp pig. I only focus on getting kills. Its extremely frustrating playing like this.

I might not have as many kills as RW (I started way after beta, and am not as 1337, plus I dont have a crazy-expensive machine) but yes. MAXes uber alles.


Though, I do have to laugh when a n00b SA user misses me with a deci just because I'm strafing :)

I like the VS maxs a lot cause of the jetpacks and I sometimes use the TR ones.

Really, the only ones who have anything to fear from boomers, are the TR MAXes.


MAX: "Yup, this is a nice spot to anchor.." *anchors*

TR IMO have the best maxes, NC come next, and i really hate the VS maxes. The jumping is nice but i think they just suck. I guess if u spent a lot of time getting to understand them or whatever they might have SOME use but i really like the TR maxs, i also have all 3

WTF are you smokin? VS maxs suck? Comet friggin tears through infantry like no tomorrow. Quasar is now decent too.

Yeah yeah, the comet is pretty good now, but the quasar still sucks indoors...its JUST OK outdoors, if theres no AVs around...
