I just found out that if you click the little button for putting a quote in your quick reply box, to the left of the reply box, it gives the error:

so thats how you do that
hit the button in between edit and quote
the little quote icon
and it makes a reply with
{QUOTE=Hamma}.blah blah blah blah{/QUOTE}

Probably just some kind of testing feature. The Release Candidate of VB3 is supposed to come out before XMas, overall its very stable right now in beta 7.
