Grief

I have 1027 grief right now because the system is facked. I get all of my grief from lag, I'm shelling down a hallway at what appears to be enemies on my screen, I lag for a split second, and I get +25 grief because another MAX walked in front of me (which I didn't see).

Then, after you get the first initial grief, it stacks exponentially (sp?), +10 turns into +100 and etc, before long, you have weapons lock.

I tried playing a support role to down my grief, but people run over me and get me more grief (buggy collision system).

Fix it or remove FF devs.

Hey i feel your pain man..i played on a my freinds PITA computer and that happend. The only thing that is going to help you is by 1.getting more ram 2.Getting a faster internet connection 3. Combine steps 1 and 2

And people who do like you are the ones the grief system is there to control.

The grief system can't differentiate between a true griefer, a person who is failing to control their weapon system and a hapless person who ate a friendly's bumper.

The reason you get grief for being run over is because if you didn't, you could run in front of people's cars and force them to take a grief penalty.

This situation is 100% the fault of griefers and people who insist on TK'ing before asking their outfit leaders/commanding officers. It's not even one iota the fault of the devs, and in fact I think they've come up with a pretty elegant system.

No, u see...Its the ppl that STOP firing when someone runs in front of u that ruin the game! Think about this, if everyone kept killing ppl that ran in front of them, instead of letting steal ur kill, do you honestly think ppl would keep doing it?

People are so afraid of grief that they just let ppl walk all over them...Id sooner take my pounder in a spawn room full of friendlies than let some lil punk steal my kill! People need to grow some balls when it comes to that...lol

You dont understand, i dont even give a fuck about the kills. Its the point...I dont let assholes walk all over me because they think if they walk in front of me ill stop firing. In a real war if u stepped in front of a MG, u wouldnt live very long...Its just proper ediquette(sp?) to not step in front of someone with a bigger gun/splash damage gun than u. I dont walk in front of maxes during tower battles, i let them do theyre job, then when they get deci'd, i clean up the rest. See that? No grief + Max XP. Why must so many ppl try and fuck this system up?

Your not reading between the lines here, im not talking about one thing, im talking about EVERYTHING everyone duz...this is NOT like a sporting event, because there, it duznt last forever, the game ends eventually. But until you DO something about this, its just going to keep on happening.

Honestly, I think it should be optional to punish people for FF. Something like in CS where you can slay, forgive, slap ect. The same could be done here but greif is given instead of a slaying or a slapping. 99% of the time I take FF I don't care, I often apoligize for getting them greif, because it's probably not their fault.
