I will be getting an upgrade later next week, and I was thinking I'd see if you guys had any thoughts on the new setup.
Intel Pentium 4 2800 HTT, 800Mhz 512kB cache FCPGA
DDR400 1024Mb 184-pin 400Mhz PC3200
ATI Radeon 9800 pro
XP
80 gig HDD 7200rpm

Well from the replies I recieved on my sys spec post im assuming thats the right path. So long as you are getting 2 512 sticks so you can activate Dual Channel for you DDR.

man thats a setup i could live with.
That'll run PS like a dream (pivotal bit is the gig of dual-channel DDR.) I envy your Raddy sir.

It will be interesting to see the stuff in action, my old setup gave me maybe 5-10 fps in large battles and at highest 40-50 in sanc.
That shit should be giving you 30 FPS in big battles, and that's on HIGH quality.
*loads shotgun for some Mangler killing*
