Just take the ramping system away. Problem solved.

Because gunning for a tank like the vanguard, that cannon is gonna hit some friendlies. And once you get like 100 grief I dunno grief points go outta control. You'll be getting 200 per friendly. Personall, I do not like having to wait 2 days before I can go gunning again. The smaller battles though grief stays pretty much under control.

Post your thoughts.

Grief has to be aquired exponentially or an intentional griefer would be able to spend several times longer harassing the player population.

Believe me, the grief penalty was shaped by the volume of griefing/TK'ing. The devs are forced to do it this way to keep subscribers from quitting because of griefers.

Also, I gun 100mm in Prowler, have used Pounder for months, and use plasma Thumper regularly, and my grief hovers around 15. It always has. If you don't have a clean shot with a splash weapon, don't take the shot.

Quite true Veteran, but there are always people who will just jump infront of you. That can add up in zerges.

It's a disadvantage of using a splash damage weapon. If you can't deal with it, grab a direct fire wep.
