Thottbot Stats

I haven't played since the patch, so this isn't a gripe (pity the poor 56k'er, or don't, I'm not bothering with the patch until I visit a friend and use his high speed internet) but I was looking at the Thottbot stats today. The TR literally don't have the highest percentage of users in any of the empire specific certs. HA/AV/Medium Tank/Buggy/AI MAX/AV MAX/AA MAX. I honestly hope that's a result of the TR just being fairly balanced, but it seems amazing that there isn't a single empire specific cert that people aren't gravitating towards. I'll form my own opinion soon enough, but I am curious to see what others think.

The reason is that TR no longer have the strongest ANYTHING! now. We have to rely on sheer numbers, and sometimes better tactics, to acheive our goals now.

This is semi-off-topic though it is derrived from Thott's page, exactly 21.5% of all three empires on Emerald have CR1. Fun :p

Judging by the stats, Pounder is dead (least popular of all AI maxes on Werner at least)
Striker is falling from favour (Fallen to 21.5% from 26.6% in two weeks). It was the most popular AV cert on the server it is now second to Phoenix. Lancer remains unpopular.

MCG looks to be finding favour (up 5% over the same period) but whether this is disgruntled Pounder drivers looking for more indoor firepower it is hard to tell.

The Burster Max is still unpopular at 12.5% (up a whopping 0.1%) and is the least popular AA Max still.

I don't think he is....If we have such crappy stuff after the balance pass then why (before we got deservingly pwned) take 10 of 12 daily winners (cause TR now actually use vehicles which forces the NC and VS to make different stratagies than before)

Sure, do you not realise that the Burster now is THE farthest fireing weopon in the game at a whooping 530 meters? thet outshoots even the sniper rifle! I want you to name ONE non-common pool weopon in the TR arsonal that IS the most powerful of its counterparts, exception is still TR burster.

In reply to the above post. We use vecs now because the Weopons on those things FINALLY got a bit of a boost, they are still no match to the Vangaurd in terms of fire power. I admit that with the faster fire rates the cannons DO kick quite a bit of ass now, though. THAT i like.
