POD is a kickass band. They are at least in my top ten. My fav song by them is satellite. They were one of the few bands to actually produce a good cd with more than 1 or 2 good songs on it... so KUDOS TO POD!

POD sucks, yes music is subjective but they still suck in my opinion. Didnt they start as a christian band? And i may be jaded being a guitar player for seventeen years, but i just went and saw G3...... Yngwie Malmsteen( GUITAR GOD) Steve Vai and Joe Satriana.....fret bending madness.....BTW rap is the least talented form of music to ever come along.....Big band , country, new wave and even yes DISCO are all much more creative and talented forms of music.

I know that a lot of people here think of tehcno and hardcore punk when they hear the words "good music". Even though techno is made with computers/synths instead of instruments, I can't say that I hate all of it. Hardcore, on the other hand, is shit. Anyone can scream lyrics into a microphone, those "bands" just get paid to do it.

I'm glad you said that instead of me. I remember once I talked down on tehTeChNo and was flamed for it! But yeah, I agree with you. Most techno sounds just silly to me. In some movies like Matrix Reloaded though, they took some opera scores and put down some beats behind it to make some really good fight music.

As far as me just going out and buying a CD entirely of techno....it'll never happen.
