umm i dont think so... they usually keep your char around for at least a few months (like 6) then they delete it, but some games (like Earth & Beyond) Keep your char forever. I think that SOE keeps thier chars, but im not sure since i havent cancled my account yet.
and conidering i just got into a certain perticular beta test... :innocent: I prolly wont be for a while

Your character is guaranteed to be saved for atleast 3 months I believe. After that it will be deleted if needed. But if they don't need the space they won't delete it.

90 days guarrenteed. Then if they feel triggerhappy they can wipe it from their records for space.
They almost never do this in any MMO game though.
Meaning- you will prolly come back a year from now and it will still be there.

A TR BR20/CR5 from Markov deleted his character and switched to NC. After a couple days, he didn't like playing NC anymore and wanted his old character back. After contacting a CSR, it was able to be restored but it had to have a different name. Originally, his name was blckhazeI and after the incident it was blckhazeIx.

I thought that CSR didn't restore characters that were deleted to try out another empire.

That wasn't the case then. Unless an unexplainable series of events took place and blckhazeI was able to get a new BR20/CR5 character in a matter of hours....
Who knows?
