Was flying with my skeeter over Hosin this morning and saw an enemy Reaver. I began shooting and he hit his afterburners and tried to out run me :lol: . Of course i caught up and began pounding on him again. He began twirling all over the sky and i was tailing him. He again hit his afterburners. After about 3 more minutes another skeeter joins the fight. I finally shoot down his plane and he Alt-G's out. Began pounding on him and the other skeeter who just joined in quickly shoots the pilot getting the last shot and all the XP :mad: . This has happened a lot of times, someone running up and getting the last shot. But its beginning to get on my nerves. I dont know if anyone else agrees with me, but i think this is very frustrating.

Yeah, they should make it so you get XP based on how much damage you give, and if you give all the damage and kill them you get a bonus. Or something. Don't listen to me.

I agree, the bonus thing i dont really think is neccesary, but itd be a nice touch hehe. Glad to see other people agree with me :groovy: :groovy: :doh:

What really pissed me off about the XP thing is this one sniper kept following me around, then whenever I got into a one-on-one with another guy, he'd let me do all the damage, and then he'd just blow him away and take all the XP. Of course I ran him over with my wraith every time I saw him, after this. :dance:

When this guy did this i got really mad. I swapped my skeeter for a reaver and stalked the skeeter until he landed to repair. I switched to the rockets and.... :evil: :eek:

Ok i dont want to get inot the details, but for this to work, how would you handle medpacks, the massive battle where someone just sprays a pack with fire from a supressor and does 1 percent to everyone. How would you handle if i do damage to a vanguard driver but dont kill him, then he finally dies an hour later, but i logged off? There are millions of reason why this is not an easy implementation, and this doesnt even take into the account that the servers will have that much more to do. Factoring from who and where and how long the damage was done and then who it goes to. Thats alot of calculations. Not to shoot you down but this has been brought up in another thread already.

I never said it would be an easy implant. But imo it would definatly be worth it. And to answer the quick question it would work somewhat like the DAoC system.

You complain about people getting the last shot in, which yes, sucks balls. But how many times have you got the last shot in on someone? Chances are you do it as much as people do it to you.

I get my kills stolen all the time (plasma thumper).....
But I do try, and try hard, to steal as many kills as I can :fro: .
I think this should be implemented somehow.....
Lets say that if you did more then X% of the total damage you would get X% of the kill XP.
I won't pretend like I know shit, because I don't.
I'm not a game programer, and I always did suck in math.
I'll let the devs do the hard part.... but I'll be bitching, ranting and moaning all the way to BP2, baby! :D

Until recently the BEP awards were feeble compared to those of today, so I think you're gonna soak it up regardless. I don't think the devs want to focus on 1 vs. 1 PvP, it puts too much on their plate. It's a war of armies.

I always figured the faster 2 or 3 of us could take out that Max or Sniper the better we all are. That and my playing support most of the time would account for me taking from release til 2/3 weeks ago to reach BR20. A fun ride though! :D
