I actually can't see the fire from my window any more, and when I could, the fire was 3-4 miles away(I actually couldn't see it from my window, I could only see a glow, I had to walk a block to see the fie). Plus I have a freeway between me and the fire and most of the stuff north of me is burned already.

100 houses isn't right, I heard 200 last night and it is gona be like 300 or 400 by now.

Couple of my friends had to leave their homes, but I think the fire hasn't actually touched their houses yet.

I love that overwhelming feeling of calm that comes with things like this. Whenever i see stuff like this on tv, expecialy the on the ground seens, i always feel this huge sadness that i cant be there to experience it. 8)

We probably wont know the truth of what happened there for like 5 years. there are a few rumors tourture and stuff, all in the name of uncovering terrorism, of course. I think the purpose of the stickers and stuff is to say that the troops shouldent be there in the first place.

Besides, few actually risk their lives, just troops like the ones who go fight it out in cities, where you cant throw missles or shoot cannons at them from miles away.

Its wierd how America apparently has all of this technology like nearly invincible tanks and soon there will be computers and HUDs on solders, but almost the only tactic is to stay away from the enemy, fly a plane extreemly high and bomb them, risking the high chance of hiting innocents, which from what I understood happened alot.

1. Clinton was good for the economy: How? Can you name one economic package he initiated and passed int he first 4 years of office? No. Wanna see what Clinton did? Look no further then Enron, that mess and the other corperate scandles all went down while HE was in office. They came out right after he left... imagine that. Also, just for good measure, the US Economy was in RECESSION when Clinton LEFT office. Yeah guy, you need Economics 101.

2. We use air power, ya know why? cause we can. These "claims" of "high" civilian deaths. CAn you substaniate them anywhere? No. A few fringe wacko nut case anti-war pro-saddam sites claim tens of thousands of innocents killed... yeah, that may be the case, but most crediable sources find that they were caused by Saddam and his forces... ooops.

3. People like you see Bush as evil why? Oh yeah, your political masters tell you too, cause Bush ruined thier blood for money gian they had going with Saddam, but I don't hear you talking about that... no that was all good...

4. I got two words for the rest of the world when they whine about our air, sea and land power. Penis Envy.

Actually, your right. And i'm without a house. Vista, CA was evacuated Sunday afternoon. The house was about 20 miles from the fire, and has since burned. Family is at a local shelter, and i am staying with chelle until the trains are running again....


Actually! I'm fine. House is very close to fires but it isn't burnt down :rofl:.i am actually stranded up here without a way to get back. Fires are indeed close to Vista, CA though. So i when i get back i will fully update you. Chelle's house got flooded, so we were without internet for all of today. I don't know how long i will be stranded, but the interstates all near my house, and up here are all shut down indefinitely.

Oh yea, im not an american, i dont have a political master, Jean Cretien does not tell us what to hate and what to cheer for.

There seems to be a trend on this thread where people quote me, prove one thing wrong and back it up and the rest is garbage.

vicchio, this whole thing was started by a intolorate comment, i replied against americans, azteck apologies, i lifted my anti-us reply, but then little goblen or elf kept it going. Since then ive been trying to get intelligent answers to prove me wrong, it isnt really comeing, so i give up.

The games at the bottom at the sig explain what im trying to say probably better than i can explain, im not replying about the us thing anymore.

And im coming clean on a few things..

If you check the slide show, the fire is in Escondido, CA (13 miles from Vista, CA (check mapquest)). That was 2 days ago and has since spread a couple miles. I just called my mom and she can see flames from the Escondido fire. Wow :scared:
