A friend of mine is having problems with his laptop. It orignaly had Windows 2000 (I think) but it is all screwed up now. I can't get anything to work and it is moving REALLY slow. Now, i could spend a long time trying to diagnose and fix the problem (wich I beleive stems from clicking the yes button on every thing that ever pop uped on his computer) or I could just wipe the whole HD clean and do a clean install.
This brings me to my question, will regular copies of Windows 98/200/xp work with laptops or do you need some special kind of laptop version that contains drivers for the integrated laptop type things?
Thanks in advance.
