Man there sure are a lot of Stealthed changes they threw onto the live servers. I hope they aren't all staying.

-Specifically the issue with the VS jump jets. You can't even jump jet to the top of a tower now. Also when landing instead of losing like 5 health you lose like 30 or something ridiculous.

-Mosquito is now a 0 bloom COF. I love it and hope that stays.

-All vehicles now take some weird damage for nothing same thing with infantry over flat terrain.

Weird changes.

I haven't heard anything official, but I'm pretty sure everything you just mentioned is a bug. There were a lot of weird things going on last night when I logged on. As an infantryman I was taking all sorts of damge for no apparent reason. At one point I lost 20 health just walking across level ground.

I finally had to log off because the game became unplayable. Not only were there major bugs, but the lag and stutters were horrible. My in game download times are taking 5 times as long and the game randomly freezes every minute or so for as much as 30 seconds. I never had these problems before. :(

I'm sure the wildfires in CA aren't helping things, but damn.....I think I need to head over there and apply for the Quality Assurance testing director.

Geeez

I live in Long Beach and you would have thought a volcano had erupted, what with all the ash falling down. I feel really bad for everyone that lost their homes. :(

They need to start building houses partially underground with fire proof materials for the exposed parts.

could the phantom damage be from that radiation rifle thingy?

you are supposed to be able to irradiate an area so people take damage when they walk through the area.

just got CC and its still updating so maybe the ground is supposed to glow or something?

No the CC weapons weren't available on Monday and I was in a base all by myself.

And no one really uses that gun it sucks as far as damage to an individual. I think the beamer might be better :p

I have one thing to say to those who doubt the radiator... Shoot it at a manned vehicle, and just watch the magic work... :)

Note: Don't watch the vehicle's armor bar (if you have adv targeting). There are now other ways to kill a vehicle besides destroying its armor.

Ok, but i tried it in VR and im not seeing anything. But the radiator doesnt suck totally, i like the secondary fire mode, REALLY long range. And to answer about phantom damage, no cause i makes a big glowing moving sphere around the area of explosion.

I think he means the people inside take the damage from the radiator and the vehicle itself takes minimal damage. The problem is getting them to stay inside that little bubble.

Well lets hope the fires go down so they can get things back on track

The CE deployables placement settings have changed. Most notably the spitfires and motion sensors especially. Can't lay down mines with confidence.. Grrrr.. Woof! Ruff!

I want the Lightning drifting fixed up, that is really annoying.

No, the Radiator weapon only hurts flesh. It does very little, if any at all, to vehicles. One of my outfit members used the irradiator to clear a spawn room in seconds.

Concerning the vehicles I agree. I drive a harrasser and it oversteers like crazy. It's getting embarrassing hitting a lot of trees now. :p

No what I meant was, the way a Lightning, when you are driving in a straight line actually drifts to the right.

That's a bug with the new patch Acaila. It's really annoying when trying to race between a bunch of trees and you constantly have to adjust for the drift.

AMS handling has actually been improved somewhat, faster acceleration and improved turn radius. I don't mind if that stays, but they have definitely screwed up deployables again. What is so freaking difficult about allowing spitfires to be placed on the ground!?

I think the point was that it hurts those inside the vehicles. So against a deployed Flail or Switchblade it would start hurting the operator and theres nothing they can do about it since you cant exit those vehicles while they are deployed, and they could be dead before they undeploy. Same sort of thing applies to a turrent.

Pretty cool actually and clearing spawn rooms sounds like an excelent use for the Radiator.
