You know what, the devs should make it 20 minutes, all of these noobs actually want to sit around waiting now.

I remember when the sanctuary didn't have multipule villas.

It was more dangrous trying to fly around the sanc than it was to fly over a base full of enimy AA maxes.

In a way, i wish there wasn't a HART. That way we would see alot more gals/sunderers, and that would hopefully lead to more teamwork. Also, it would make it harder to take non-home continents away.

Ahh yes, the era of the galaxy, this was so true in beta.

As for the HART, that was unintentional to bring the HART to one minute, however now that they left it for a day or so I have a feeling they will lower the overall timer when they change it :\

The reason it was set higher btw was back in beta NOBODY used warpgates, everyone just HARTed everywhere, creating no real strategy. Add to the fact you used to be able to HART on locked conts, they changed it so only WG's would work and HART would not.

Make the HART 30 minutes and encourage people to start actually using Galaxies for something other than just hot dropping into/onto and enemy base/tower or Sunderers as turret doors for base entrances.

Hell make the HART an hour for all I care and lock the warpgates instead of the ability to HART on locked continents. At least then there'd be a point to locking a cotinent other than seeing it turn a pretty color on the global map. At least it would take a little more effort and coordination to break a lock then.

I'm leaning more towards about 20 mins or so. I remember when I first bought the game and installed. It was about 2 days into release and when I walked outta that spawn tube, I could here engines roaring everywhere. It was AWSOME! Then, suddenly the gal pilots began dissapearing....and da ded ad de da. :)

I can see it now, Galaxy loads up, hovers two feet over the ground, everyone jumps out, it lands, everyone gets back in, the galaxy hovers two feet over the ground, everyone jumps out, it lands, everyo...... until the driver gets BR20, then they rotate.

I always thought if anything the hart timer was too short before, now it's just absurd. It's not the same people complaining as you put it, instead it's the half that wasn't complaining before that is complaining now. In beta everyone used galaxies and almost everyone had a vehicle of their own. Now everybody is so HART happy half your squad will be walking everywhere because they're unwilling to spend certs on a vehcile. Now the problem is worse, since those who wont spend certs on a vehicle can just recall and get where they were going faster than they could have got there even with a vehicle.

I remember day one of beta...you would walk outside the respawn facility in the sanctuary and hear the high-pitched roar of 20 galaxys loading their troops for battle. I wish I could see that again. The HART should be at least 20 minutes.

Thats why I use "Instant Action" even if I have no stuff I go into sanc get it, quit and do instant.

i agree, with instant action now working, outfit bases showing up soon, and with gal pilots FEW and far between, i think just canning the whole hart would be an excellent idea. Maybe have a single base (assuming your empire has control of it) that you could always spawn at. this would create a whole new breed of strategy. i can alreay see CR5's saying, "We need to take Ghannon in order to slow the TR reinforcements."

lets say that the only base you could spawn at (from sanc) was the one closest to a sanc link or home cont. this would make the gal cert worth something again (which shouldnt be too hard considering the shield module). i dunno just an idea. i think it would promote squadding up (actually working with the squad i mean, god i hate n00bs).

maybe i should make this a new post.

I want the hart timer to be at 6 minutes. 10 minutes is moderately annoying when you recall because u were trying to get that last kill and end up missin the thing while entering the hallway.

6 minutes would soften the blow. 20 Minutes would make the gal cert a necessity and severely hamper the fun of soloing people (no outfiters)

1 hour would make the hart useless.

Totally. I usually only get to play in short incriments, and hgaving the HART at 1 minute is a god send, instead of waiting forever.

Wish they would make it about 15-20 minutes. More Gal's and Sund's would be nice to have. HART every minute is just not right. IMO Only.

30 minute HART timer would be the way to go. Force people to spend the certs on vehicles.

I bet this would also take care of all "the vehicles are to powerful now" post in the official forums. Be forceing people to have a vehicle they may actually see that vehicle vs. vehicle combat is pretty balanced.

This 1 minute timer is a joke. It is now quicker to cap a singlle base, recall, and HART into the next base. How stupid is this? There is no reason to Matrix to bases anymore, since the sanc spawn and HART drop is now even quicker than a respawn.

Damn I didn't even think of that yet! If the zerg is comming up your back side, just recall HART back in behind them! ETA under 2 min.

its only since CC. It's so odd. On monday when it opened, I was lagging so awfully i couldnt play pretty much. Tuesday it was better, but still sucky with loading times. I also switched my resolution to medium on tuesday which helped a lot. Today all lag was gone but some loading times were excessively long. ah well

True Tsukassa, but noone wants to bother with the cert because you need to get it from sanc or dropship center, and it could just be faster/easier to hart to the place.

A 30 minute hart timer seems a bit harsh, but 15 sounds realy nice. Heck, just about everything else timed is 15 minutes, why not the HART as well? To explain, you could say some HARTs got in the way of OSes or something. :evil:

I think they should make it that on a locked Continent, Warp Gate, and HART drops should NOT be allowed. Only same side troops ahould be able to get onto their own locked continents. Only way into a locked continent, for a nme, should be through caves. Making it even harder to take a continent, and Neccessary to use the caves to go anywhere.
I know, not practical. But I'm not a practical guy. plus I'm fuking pissed off at these solo guys who come into a locked continent, and travel around blowing generators.
