Maybe i was just picking the wrong cave or something cause i only saw 5 other NC on markov down their. Anyone else notice this on any other server?

Everyone is spread way to damn thin now. On konried the NC locked down 6 con't and were working on the 7th in under 2 hours while everyone else was running around down stairs from cave to cave.
Also when I was down stairs there were like 30 or so nc and 15 tr and 25 vs in one cavern. I ran around for an hour trying to find someone to shoot. I did kill three vs down there and one tr. The tr was sitting in the cave side warpgate and I mowed him with my flail as i was leaving.

Konried's population probably did take a hit from the expansion; isn't it the smallest server on Planetside? I know on Markov there were still great battles topside. Expect people to want to hang around in the caverns for awhile, the game just came out yesterday. They'll get their fill of the new areas in a few days.

I do agree with ya Ghost. The Expansion is new, so I expect everyone to be in The caves. I don't think that Konried is the Lowest pop, I don't know though. I do know that emerald Vs is getting really thin and Johari TR are thin. I have logged onto those two Servers between the hours of 6pm est and 10pm est and can't get a squad for 20 mins cause like hardly noone is on, I don't see anyone broading lfs messages. The platoons came way to late. We hardly get a platoon up anymore. Not enough peeps out there for it to be done. If you do get one started you have like maybe one full squad and then a squad a 3 or 4 and one of 5. I just wish they could do something to get the Pops back up. It would make things a lot more fun.

Maybe this weekend there will be more people in the caves, people get paided friday and people have time to get CC on the weekend.

Heck VS even won on emerald yesterday, most likely because TR & NC were dicking around in the caves!
WIsh I knew how we won, I can't play due to damn vid crashes grrrrrr.

If I ever actually see one open I'll join you. With the caves only being open on a particular continent for a small period of time you have to go out of your way to find one that is open. When you have a limited amount of time to play and your above ground bases are being rapped it just isn't as fun. Why go into the caves to grab modules if you don't have or won't have any bases to put them in when you get topside. :(
I like CC, but with not enough people to play against and the limited availability of open caves I'm not enjoying it yet.

I feel the same way about the limited time in the caves. I don't like that. I also don't like the limit on the modules. I feel if i fight my way down into the caves and I get to a cc I should be able to get a damn module and bring it back up and place it in a base. This will be real nice with the outfit bases. I mean if an outfit takes a base they should be able to place the base mods on it they want and use it like they want. I mean okay you get a vehicle mod up to the surface and a guy places it on a base he wanted to. I may not want to have to head over to that damn base everytime i want a flail. Or what if we needed the shield mod not the vehicle mod or the pain mod, etc. I would love to see these mods in action, I have seen the flail, switchblade, and router. I want to get more health after a respawn or have shields on the base gates, etc. I mean damn. I don't think this is working out like it was suppose to. Do you get like three mods per empire; per cont or the entire globe and all the empires only get like three or 6 or something. It would be retarded to get there and the TR have the mods cause they were faster and then the other empires are screwed. They don't even need to head to the caves, If they do they may not have known so it was wasted. I'm not really digging this. Oh well My bitching.

When a random cave opens up, not a lot of people will go. But, if, say, us Vanu are having a full scale attack on Solsar, and the Solsar geowarp opens, we'll rush our asses down there and get the module.
The purpose of the caverns are the modules. That's the only reason they were made.

Last night Emerald maxed out all available modules. The remainder of the evening consisted of trying to steal everyone else's mods.

Part of the problem could be people dont have CC yet, it wasnt in stores till today.

Sounds like your getting your ass kicked by the one minute HART more then anything else. No reason to stand around looking for a squad when you can get to the fight nearly instantly. They've already said it was an accident and as soon as there offices aren't about to burn down, i'm sure they'll fix it.

The only people I've seen in the cave (besides squadmates) was the Prowler crew that was running everyone over when they materialized in the WG (I'm not bashing the Prowler crew, it was a great tactic).

On the Emerald server VS, where I see the least peeps and the fewest LFS broadcasts, was all before CC was even out. The Hart thing only happened after CC. I don't know maybe I was just on at the wrong times everyday of every week and all day on the weekends. I have been on PS for a pretty long while and I remimber the older times when the servers where pretty full. You just don't see any of that anymore.

Last night on Emerald, we VS and the TR had a pretty decent sized cave battle under Ceryshen (about 40 v 40). It ended being a great battle. If you even do get into a battle in the caves it is amazing. The multiple levels and the ziplines make for great offensive and defensive positioning. I do however hate trying to walk around the caves without a vehicle. The ziplines need to be on the proximity map so I know which ones to take to go in the correct direction.

The zips are not on the proxy map, but incase you didn't know they can be on the overhead map. It's in the toggles thing like the SOI for bases and you can also pick to have the map show just ground or ceiling buildings. I didn't know that for a little while. Stumbled across it.

Yea, I see them on the overhead map. But I hat having to hit 'm' everytime I wanna see where a zipline ends up. Maybe its just me.

If the zips were on the proxy map it would get too cluttered. However if one could target the begining of the zip line and it caused that specific line to show up on ones proxy map that would rock.

There also isnt really a huge need to go into the caverns right now because for the most part MAX modules are on the surface, I've seen a shitload of AT vehicles and weapons in use, but low population in the caverns because there is no current need to go down there.

I think its about time to merg servers and if have to, increase the server population because these caverns spread us too thin.

Take the current populations and spread it out over an even bigger area. THats the only thing I don't really like about having caves.

Have to agree with Hamma. I haven't been in the caves since the first day I had CC. My Girl went down there the other to the Volcano Cave, I think it is linked to searhus, She ran around for over 45 min and seen one person. I haven't been down there because I don't have a need to, the mods are up on the surface. There is never any fighting on the surface where caves are open so there isn't really any need to be at a cave when it is open.
Quick question for you beta's, if you can answer it. Since I didn't get my e-mail and didn't find out until the day beta closed. Did they play test the real game, not just the caves? If so that would explain why everyone was so happy about it on the beta and now it is starting to suck ass.

If I would have gotten my e-mail about it I would have been there. I didn't know I had beta until I was all over. I read the post about it the monday it released and I copied everything over in hopes i would get to try things out for like the last second and blam I get the message the CC beta is now closed, plz purchase your copy at stores near you soon. I was like what the shit. Oh well.
