Corner Shot said its new rifle is composed of two parts. The front, that can swivel from side to side, contains a pistol with a color camera mounted on top. The back section consists of the stock, trigger and a monitor.

That is absoloutely l33t.

I like the US system that has an M-82 inside a remote control turret. Throw that beside a corner and you can own. No puny pistol

sweet, but the new military MG tht fires the computer timed detonating fragmentation rounds is cooler, you jsut have to shot it over waht they are hiding behind and it will go boom over their heads like a granade

That thing is useless in most cases. In a field like a city it would be impractical. Maybe SWAT would use it.

I say they issue every soldier their own personal mechwarrior, like this one

that would be a r0xx0rzing Vanu MAX :)

hehe, it would need to have a bunch of robotic clips from movies so to intimidate people solders could push I button that would be like "Inefficent life form detected, preparing combat mode"

Last thing the vanu need is a better MAX, just give it to the TR since all TR weapons suck nuts anyways.

Seems like it would be hard to aim

Rather impractical looking. I'd rather have the flechette idea from Free Radical... (Based on one of the greatest games ever made, System Shock)...

Is it really that hard for them to walk around a corner?

Is it really that hard for them to walk around a corner?
And get shot?

The whole idea is to shoot safely from behind a corner.

The Germans also did this during WW2 with the StG (MP)44's Krummlauf barrel. Curved at about 30 degrees, it literallly enabled you to shoot around corners. It had a periscope to help you.

Damn German hackers.

Meh having mechs on the battlefield even heavily armored would be useless... it would just be one big 100 million target for rpg's and other anti-vehicle rocket infantry
