I know some of you on IRC have heard me speak of this group in the past, but i thought i'd make a thread. They are an irish sort of punk band, with a bagpipe player. I think some of you should "check out" there music. Here are a few songs i recommend.
Dropkick Murphy's - Cadence To Arms
Dropkick Murphy's - Fighting 69th
Dropkick Murphy's - Boys on the Docks
Dropkick Murphy's - Far Away Coast
Dropkick Murphy's - Amazing Grace
Dropkick Murphy's - Finnegans Wake
Dropkick Murphy's - Do Or Die
Dropkick Murphy's - Drinking and driving
I really love these guys, Chelle turned me on to em. Check em out and tell me what you guys think

The Murphys are friggin awesome. I saw them play at a show with Reverend Horton Heat and Southern Culture on the Skids. Whenever they are in the area, I go see them with the crew.

If you don't like the music in this thread. Create one for the music you prefer and stop highjacking mine.

OK, the beautiful thing about this band is that they mix bagpipes in with the normal guitar set. This and their lyrics are basically drinking songs in prose.
Ownage.

Indeed. Not to mention a few songs have a freaking fiddle. It's awesome, unique, and like chelle says "Doesn't this music just make you wanna get up and dance?".

I got a belt buckle with a pirate on it that says 'Dropkick Murphys', and a shirt to compliment the band 'Flogging Molly'
