Thanks guys for the good info on my last post here! You guys rock!

I have a few more questions....

1. How many deployables can a Combat Engineer deploy at one time? There must be a limit or one dedicated guy could cover the map with Spitfire Turrets... LOL.

2. If a Spitfire kills someone, who gets credit for the kill and experience points? Does this go to to engineer or split amungst his/her squad?

3. How many vehicles can you use at one time? For example if you wanted to be UBER AMS support guy... how many could you drive out from vehicle base, deploy, deconstruct your avatar at AMS, respawn at vehicle base, repeat... I assume there is a limit here as well...

4. Also, I've noticed you can deconstruct your vehicle... why would you want to do that?

Not sure the exact numbers on this. I think your old one will deconstruct after 15m (so one at a time.)
When your done with it, don't want anyone to gank it from the other empire :p

God, it's been a damb long time since I used CE... IIRC the upper limit on Spits is 10, and mines is 20. Don't remember what the Motion Sensor or Boomer limits are, but remember you have to keep track of the boomers you deploy. ;)

If you're online, you get credit for the kill, and if you're squadded the EXP goes to your squad. If you're not online it's a "neutral kill" (it'll say {spitfire_turret}xLise, for example, but it's been a LOOOONG time since a Spit got me. Yay Striker. :p )

One vech per person. Unclaimed vehicles will deconstruct 15 minutes after losing a user unless they gain another user. No question. So one AMS per person.

4. Also, I've noticed you can deconstruct your vehicle... why would you want to do that?

Many, many reasons. It can be faster to just decon your busted-ass tank than to get it repaired... or a nasty Infiltrator trick, hijack an AMS then deconstruct it. EVIL trick, that.

Woo, I'm spamming today :p

Another little hint padawan. I noticed you're fighting for the Mother Republic. Many will tell you that the Striker is bad. Do not listen to these people. They are dumb. Even after getting nerfed, the Striker is still the best anti-MAX weapon in the game (especially outdoors, indoors it isn't quite as hot as the Decimator but it's still servicable) and it's God's Gift to Terrans for clearing Spitfire Turrets. And especially in groups it's still enough to own most vehicles, even the MBTs. Get the Striker at some point and practice with it a bit, you won't be disappointed.

As I remember it, 10 spitfires, 10 motions, and 20 mines. Boomers have no limit, they are handled differently. I also haven't been a CE for a while, but I think those numbers are correct.

Oh, and there's also a timer that must elapse after each vehicle purchase before you can buy another of that vehicle. I'm not entirely sure, but I think it's 4 minutes...maybe 5. So if you buy an AMS, and it takes 1 minute to get to your destination and another minute to set up defenses and respawn at the base, you'll still have 2-3 minutes to kill before you can get a new one.

Whats the limit on deployed spitfire turrets for your empire? I'm assuming they wont let 10 engineers deploy 100 spitlfires in their base?

But they do...

10 engys - 100 spitfires. But of course you can't place them too close to eachother.

Thirty Motion Sensors
Unlimited Boomers, but each one creats a trigger you have to set off manually.

but spitfires and mines can only be deployed outside and there has to be a big space inbetween em.

Yes. There has to be space in between depolyables, so there is a practical limit to how many can be deployed at once... but there is no hard limit. I've seen the result of CE Orgies before... I wasn't sure if I was awed or terrified. O_

I had CE once, it was fun and stuff but you never saw the good it did, you know? So I just dropped it, I felt the same way about Adv. Medical so dropped that also.

You have to stick around a bit, but in a heated base defense a minefield is the best anti-vehicle defense a base has.
