unorganized unclear teachers! One day before a book test for One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest she decides to throw a test at us. She completely ignores the fact that we also have 2 other tests the exact same day that we luckily were given a 4 days heads up on so we could study. Now my English teachers test requries us to read 50 pages to finish the book. We won't even have been able to discuss the end!!! Now the 50 pages are alright cuz I paid lots of attention while I read and stuff but now she thinks its even better to throw 70 Vocab words in as well. The worst part is though is she didn't even tell us the test was gonna be tommorow! She finds some kids that are in my class and tells them the test is tommorow near the end of the day and tells them and she expects them to tell everyone else! I went to get this comfirmed and she said the test was tommorow!
I don't mind hard teachers, I don't mind cruel, and slave driving teachers because they are usually organized enough to let me know what the hell is going on!

tell her that, i did that once, and she got PISSED! though, i told her that i found this work, over my family, requiring me to write stuff about my self, that she wouldnt even look at was pointless, and i saw no need for it. especialy because this was a Science class.

I do hate unorganised and unclear professors. Amazingly, I just got an A- on the midterm - all I had to do was regurgitate exactly what she wanted. I feel like the class is forcing me to memorise rather than actually learn.
Ahh, Core class... It's not Medieval Lit, it's stupid class!

No worries. It's more about editing FOR spelling, grammar, punctuation, etc rather than learning most of those rules in the first place.
I'll teach you English if you'd like . . . ;)

That's it? You're whining over three tests?
In Russia, TESTS TAKE YOU!
Just kidding.
How can I demonstrate my school's difficulty?
O this is your ego.
o this is your ego after 9th and 10th grades
o this is your butthole.
O this is your butthole after 9th and 10th grades
I've had three tests and two quizzes on the same day. My brother had four tests on the same day once. He told Administration, all they did was tell him to ask the teachers to move their tests.
Guess what? Nobody did. And if there are ever more than 2 tests on a day (2 is the limit), nobody moves. Why? Various reasons. "It's MY test day!" "I CAN'T reschedule this!" "I've had this coming for two weeks!" "I've already moved!" etc.
It's like playing a game of Chicken with top fuel dragsters, and in the middle is YUO! So if they crash, all they need is a hose to spray off your blood.
And my school is the hardest in the state. I remember one World History test very well. It was on a chapter on the Aztecs, Incas, and Maya. Essay tests, all his tests were essay.
I was horrified to find out that ther were exactly three questions.
Write everything you know about the Aztecs.
Write everything you know about the Mayans.
Write everything you know about the Incas.
Everything missed is a point deduction. Grammar, spelling count also. This guy graded harder on grammar than the English teacher.
Another time we were given a similar quiz on a section of the book:
Prove to me that you read the section. Go!
This guy pwned our bones.
Most of the teachers are like this. For example: this grade:
English: A quiz can be expected four out of five days of the week. I'm serious.
Spanish: His tests are on EVERYTHING since the last. For example: I got a C on the latest one. He asked us the leaders of EVERY American nation. And the flgs of every one. And the money. etc.
Algebra II: Homework quizzes. She usually takes off points for trivial reasons. My HW quiz average is an F. I work hard as hell on tests, and I have a B.
Health: Easy shit.
Theology: Ok, we're starting chapter 4. So outline it and do all the questions. Due tomorrow.
Studio Art: Just...don't...ask....
Honors Biology: We're using a college book. It's got over 1200 pages. Need I say more?
US History. Tests=anal rape with a 2x4.
People literally leave the school with a GPA of 2.1 and call us, informing us on their new 3.4 GPA.
I had a 3.94 starting out, but mid-semester the teachers pretty much raped us, and I've tanked by five fucking tenths. I've got a 3.4. How the fuck am I getting into a good college? How the fuck am I going to get a scholarship? Now I'm not saying that your plight is not hard, but...

dude I'm not complaining about the History and Science tests, I;m just annoyed at my english teacher for being unorganized and unclear. I have like a 3.8 right now but I got my ass kicked in Spanish this quarter so I dunno what it is now.

She keeps on taking off points on the homework quiz because I "forgot to indicate which line is steeper". I clearly circled the slope of the steeper one, 1/2. The other one is 1/5.

You're still about a 3.0, which is very good. Your school most likely has a rep for being damn good. I know my "college prep" Catholic high school was pretty much the hardest in my town, and colleges knew this. I applied, got into all but 1 of the 7 I applied to (partially due to lack of enough extracurrics and partially because I am very financially needy), and landed a scholarship. Anyway, back to my point, most likely colleges will see you go to "Super Hard HS" and realise that you're hella prepared for college, accept you with open arms, and offer scholarships.

Ahh, the metaphors of a gamer . . . ;)
Seriously though, relax. That's one of the most important things I've learned - don't take life too seriously. You don't have to get into a big college (although I cried when USC said "NO!"), just one that will get you a degree. From there, go do what you want to do. Don't worry about what happens when you get there. For now, focus on getting there in one happy piece.
Or maybe it's just the SLO lifestyle rubbing off on me. Although I've never been busier in my *life,* I've also never had stress levels so low. Just relax, make the best of things, and see where life takes you.
