whoa came from a show i think in the late 80s early 90s called blossom a character in it said whoa alot and then it became absorbed into our generation

No, it's more like the pronounciation of "woe". Sadly we had no cable in the 80's and bad networks sitcoms is all we had to watch. "Who-ha" would be what Al Pachino's character said in that movie where he played the blind guy.
