Anyone have Planetside dreams?

Anyway, do any of you actually have dreams about Planetside? I don't have the game yet, but I've still had a dream about it. Share your dreams and I'll share mine later.

Nope, can't say I have had Pside dreams, but after playing for about 4 hours straight I could see planetside grapihcs when I closed me eyes. Those warnings inside the front cover about length of play are there for a reason :-p

To make things worse I eneded up with a splitting headache. I had reinstalled my drivers since the newest geforece ones dont work very well, and they reset my refresh rate from 100 to 60.
All gamers should have a refresh rate of over 85hz imho.

not really. Aside from reoccuring dreams, most dreams are about something that has happened to the person that day. If you played planetside and then went to sleep, it would not be uncommon to have a dream about it.

and to answer the question yes i did once. Dreamt all my friends who had left the game came back :)

PS is the last thing I do during the day before I go to bed. Once and awhile just after laying down, I see images of things such as great kills or the biggest explosion of the night or something. Never actaully dreamed about it though...I don't think.

I only have dreams of a game if I have played more than 6 hours of it in a single day. Planetside is too fast paced for me to take 6 or more hours of it at once and frankly, 6 hours of Planetside in a row is boring as shit. Unfortunately I have had far too many EQ dreams :D and I had some really restless KOTOR dreams lately rofl

I confess, I have had dreams. I don't even own the game, like you, and I have dreams. After I played the 7 day free trial, I had dreams. This one I remeber very clearly.

I was in a Scattermax(NC AI), and I was facing an opening in which enemies were flowing through. I killed a couple and then, an infiltrator got into the room. I grabbed him by the neck (in my max) and I threw him on the floor. I quickly turned into an infiltrator myself and then a couple of enemies burst in. I hid behind a column that popped out of nowhere, and I think I died.
In another dream I remember that I was an infiltrator, and I kept searching for the button to cloak myself! I couldn't find it because there was no keyboard, but I kept feeling around for the button and I managed to press it. I think some enemies were shooting at me but I didn't get hurt for some reason.

Yes, after the trial, I was *OBSESSED*. :p

It is because of the way that game manipulates anyone with even small levels of obsessive compulsion into a slave for at least 4 or 5 days untill you complete the game. Bioware absolutly mastered the art of "cant put this down" with KOTOR. You are just unable to find a stopping point because as soon as you finish a task of any sort, some new NPC jumps in with a quest or some party member starts a conversation you are compelled to complete to the end

This forum moves fast. Anyway, I will continue with my weird dream. Just to let you know, I haven't even played the 7 Day Trial.

I believe I was on the coast of one of the islands. Some cool beach with water, people were getting ready to get into their Galaxy's, and ummm, does someone with the right certs just order one at a machine or something and it appears? That's what was happening in my dream, so suddenly I was standing in the middle of a vehicle pad, a guy quickly ordered another Galaxy and I was crushed when it appeared.

All I remember after that is looking out at the view in a Galaxy, it looked pretty sweet.

btw, everyone dreams tons of dreams, it just a small percentage of dreams are livid enough to remember when you wake up.

I have a shitload of reocurring dreams, where i'm a snake, and I am flying off a seat in a football field, and into the middle of the field, or when I can't breathe, or see, or walk. It makes me angry. GRRRR.

But anyways, I have had lots dreams about EQ and PS, wierd ones, where there is no lag, or FPS problems, and ppl actually use the galaxys, and the caverns, and there are huge battles.

Actually yeah, I've had a Planetside dream before. It was before I baught it, I dreamed that my squad was getting pushed back and then I was the last one. Hundreds of NC and VS started running at me, I released a massive Orbital Strike that covered the continent killing everyone. Then my jet pack kicked in and I flew off to another continent.

Actually, no dreams. The fact that some of you have dreams about it and don't actually play or own the game is odd.

Oh, I do have one reoccuring dream. I dream that I am playing soccer with my childhood friends. Except we have no ball so they use my head. They kick my head around and I try to play but my headless body just bumps into things. But I was just happy to be in the game.

Fraid not. Im not an expert on sleep. I just have some general knowleage and watched a few Discovery specials. :p

It prolly means something tho. Im not Daniel so I cant interpret dreams :(


On that note, I had one dream, as a kid, tons of times. I was sort of a chess piece, couldnt remember which one, but my mother was at one end of the chess board, and father was at the other. They were human sized whilest I was an inch or so high :p

They were arguing about what I was supposed to do, and who I should listen to.

Well. About a year later. My parants got divorced :( :(

Then teh dream went away.

ah f***. I had a dream with planetside content in it last night. I dreamt my gf was trapped in an enemy base and I had to rescue her. I did so fairly easily. For some reason I was hitting and killing lots of aircraft with my heavy VS rifle. God knows why...

When I got to her she said if I didnt stop playing planetside she was gong to dump me. (which she's never even suggested, so it must be my subconsious self preservation instinct :p )

Time to cut down the hours I think \o/

Well, I just had a Planetside dream last night. Kinda. It had some PS things in it, like me charging the enemies with an AMP. But instead of dying, they turned into Terminators! Uhoh!
