submitting a potd

I been trying to submit a potd, but every time it does it says i need a forum account..and i signed up and it still says that. How can i get it to work? i have some really good bug pics and various fun pictures.

try clearing your cookies and then loggin back into the forums again, and then try to submit a POTD

I have a couple pics to post, but it says "Error: Only JPEG files are allowed for upload (jpg, jpeg)." even when my pics are .jpg, I've tried .jpeg and .JPG but same result.
