I am getting aroun 20 FPS in the sanctuary and about 5-10 during battles. I have a AMD 800 MHZ with 756 MB of RAM. A geforce TI 4600. Will the frame rates improve if I go P4 2.6 with a 1 GB or RAM PC3200?

The screen is set at 1024*768.

I would apreciate some feedback.

What are your current graphics settings , turn off all flora and put particles to low, if your desperate turn detail mesh off and put textures to medium.

THere are some threads on the OF that help to tweak graphics drivers/settings to increase FPS> I cant think of any off the top of my head however.

well, first thing, you need to upgrade your megahertz, if you do, youll notice a big jump from the game. and all i remember from the thread, about how to make PS run better is.

1) click start
2) click run
3) type in MSconfig
4) click startup
5) deselect all, and only leave on what you want.

EDIT

i own, okay, here are the suggested Drivers, unfortunatly, there is not suggested driver for my card, those sons of bitches!!!

You need a much faster processor and could use more RAM. Did I mention a faster processor? Also, a faster processor.

Thanks SnipeFrag, I tried out the suggestions and it made a massive difference. FPS is much better, and the hard drive is not constantly buzzing away.

thanks again, you put a big grin back on my face.

Reduce your view range to close to minimum.

Yeah your frame rates would improve if you upgraded. ALOT. The thing failng your system is you're processor however. That, and possibly your motherboard is all you should really be looking to upgrade unless you have 500 to burn.
