These are some improvements to CC I think would improve the expansion.

1: Make the lazepointer waypoint persist for at least a full minute
2: Make the Radiator sphere last for at least twice as long
3: Make the Maelstrom be on-par with Jackhammer
4: Make the Router's deployment distance 500m instead of 300m
5: Increase the Flail's ammo from 50 to 100 shots
6: Increase the Switchblade's ammo by 100%
7: Add decoration enhancements that add an urban feel to the caverns
8: Force the Flail to deploy on flat ground. Add a cloaking bubble around it.
9: Instantly kill a player carrying a module if they enter water. If they pick up a module in the water and carry it back to land, do not kill them.
10: Make the Radiator force-reset the target's implants (if EMP can do it, why not radiation?)

That's all.

Some of these are good ideas, but this one would be useless. Once a person drops a module in the water, the module will instantly self-destruct. The people who wait to die underwater that you see in-game, are just being melodramatic.

I totally agree with the laze WP lasting longer.

I excpected the caverns to have a more urban feel also

when i see one flail the usely is 3 or 4 along with it, i think they should keep the same ammo DONT give a cloaking bubble(I dont really think it would help so why bother). But to lessen the number only one flail should be able to deploy in a certain radius, like a AMS.

I don't think the flail needs a cloak bubble, but I do think the router needs a cloak bubble.

Maelstrom is the best weapon ever it doesnt need to be on par with the Jackhammer its Kind of a comman pool weapon for CC users example is last night with the -CDL- we were under attack on this tower and this guy had agile armor on and of course a maelstrom he killed everyone in the squad in like 5 seconds it was amazing but then again pissed everyone off as well :P

Leveling a squad of CDL in tower defence mode is next to impossible, it must have been cheezy!

I can see the fail having a cloak bubble, it would make it slightly harder to locate. Right now you can see the thing as soon as it enters your clip plane even when its not shooting. At least then it would have a chance at avoiding detection when not shooting.

I don't think the flail needs a cloak bubble, but I do think the router needs a cloak bubble.

If you deploy it halfway into an AMS cloak bubble, it will be cloaked.

Saw some fellow VS doing this a couple of nights ago. AMS deployed half a click from the back door of a base. Router deployed right next to it. Telepad right outside the back door.

Router's hidden and there's no stream of troops on a bee-line from the AMS. Also, you spawn, re-equip, and get back in the action in a jiffy.

Yeah, thats what I usually do Wraith.

Now if only the Devs would let you own 2 or 3 vehicles at once. I could do forward deployment so everything is set up before the zerg arrives without worrying about my vehicles decon'ing.

3 vehicles would be perfect. I could get my router and ams in place, then cover them with my mosquito.

I dont think they will allow more than 1 vehicle. I think the decision for that was mainly a teamwork encouragement feature. If you want a Router and AMS set up you need 2 players working together to pick choice locations to focus an attack.

Its the whole point behind certifications as well You cant be a one man army and do everything so you have limits... limited amount of certs and X amount of equipment and or resources that 1 single player can bring to the battle.

Right or wrong I think that is just the way it is and the way it will be

I think it wasn't a very good idea to make the new weapons so hard to acquire. I rarely see any of the new vehicles except for the Flail and the very occassional Router/Switchblade, and almost never see any of the new weapons. They really need to take the restrictions on where you can get these weapons away. As it is, Core Combat added very little to the game worth paying money for in my opinion, and how hard it is to acquire any of the new toys just compounds that issue.

You never know Ash, with all of the asinine decisions the Devs have already made to further destroy teamwork as is, I wouldn't put it past them.

But you're right, I was just puking a random thought out.
